  1. Well more like what I got in the last 6 months (+) not in chronological order- eBay purchases (‘55 Dodge-Walmart) Got in trade with a forum member From Ollie’s - to introduce granddaughter to model building. ‘66 Shelby was a club meeting door prize. Got the ’60 Mercury in trade with a club member. ‘50 Buick from Jay’s Resin Wheels. From ebay for parts. Most are warped. There are 2 complete kits - a 1910 Pierce Arrow and the Sears buggy, although it’s top is slightly warped, I think it’s salvageable. The 1903 Ford is slightly warped but it isn’t so bad a little paint and set back far enough on a shelf it will look ok. 😉 It’s the yellow one in the pic below. Highway Pioneers from ebay. Girls are mini Barbie dolls my gf found at the Dollar Tree. They are about perfect 1/32 scale once removed from their bases. They are almost perfect for 1/25 scale children, too, if you can find any that look like children. +++ In July so far +++ Another ‘64 1/2 Mustang! From eBay. This one is missing a few parts the most agreegous being a stock taillight lens. Not shown is an assortment of Evergreen “sticks” and a Tamya extra small flat brush with rounded edges and a couple of bottles of CA glue. I think I remembered it all!
  2. I don’t know if this will help but I have an old pair of Xacto knives in a plastic case that I’m pretty sure I got in the ‘60’s (maybe early to mid-60’s?) My first real hobby knives! (Before that was a Boy Scouts jack knife or kitchen knives!) The handles are well worn but you can still see the old style logos stamped into them. They are still in use today.I still have these blades that came with the set. All the #11 blades are long gone but the last #16 is still in use. (Mounted in a newer handle)They, too, have the logo and identification number stamped in them. Two dates to help determine the age of an item are 1963 - zip codes begin to be used. 1974 - barcodes begin to appear/be used in grocery stores. I think it took a little longer for other markets to adopt barcodes. I can remember seeing lots of products with barcodes long before for most retailers installed the readers.
  3. Yes and no. I sent one to pulln4dejr. It was his message for me to check my p.ms. I didn’t see a new message from either of you. If you want to pm me try again. I’ll keep an eye out for one.
  4. Nothing there from you. Had internet outage all day yesterday. Maybe it had something to do with not receiving pm ?
  5. Gotta love that trunk detail. Did the kit come that way or is that scratch built?
  6. Don’t be sorry! Thanks for sharing!
  7. Glass is really for ‘61 Dodge Time Machine resin kit. After market vacuum form glass would be acceptable. Any resin kit glass that utilized the Plymouth roof should work. Also need rear bumper for ‘61 Dodge wagon like the chromed one in pic. It’s a Modelhaus piece. The white bumper that came with the kit is inaccurate and could be included in a trade.
  8. Found. Please delete.

  9. I have this kit. It’s missing both small and large tubing (for radiator/heater hose, spark plug wires, etc). Engine block glued together. Some parts off trees. Fair box. I’m into mostly 50’s - 60’s stock stuff. Especially MoPars. ‘61 Chrysler, ‘65 Barracuda, ‘60 flat top Corvair, ‘60 Mercury ht, ‘62 Dodge Lancer, Imperials, etc, etc. I would trade you multiple kits for the right kit in the right condition. What do you have?
  10. COWabunga, dude! With that power plant it must really MOOve!🐮 (Never enough of the cheap puns! I say milk them for all they’re worth.)
  11. Great build. Kinda reminds me of a Dodge Magnum…
  12. Beautiful Hudson! Is the open(ing?) fuel door a feature of the kit or the result of some scratch building?
  13. Looks better built than what the box art suggests. Great job! I have the custom Cunningham kit from this series but the only custom piece left is the roof.
  14. Nice, but where are the bikinis? 😁
  15. Looks like you used some different paint techniques that I’m still hesitant to try. Very interesting!
  16. Unfortunately I do not. 🙁 Is there any other parts you’re looking for?
  17. Do you have a pic you can post? ( of the sign, not the donkeys 😁)
  18. The weathering is fantastic! Great job!
  19. Ouu wee! That’s a beauty!
  20. Need hood ornament and a front “big M emblem” (badge) or 2 for the Revell 1956 Mercury. (Second badge for possible continental kit). LMK what you’re looking for.
  21. STS Scale Model Decals should be able to. www.stsdecals.com Ph. 859-384-3289
  22. Well that’s all that matters! 😁 congratulations!
  23. What a great find! I had a rust bucket version of this very model, very similarly if not identically equipped. When I had to replace the engine I pulled the slant six out of my totaled ‘61 Dodge. It must have been one with aluminum internals as it gave the car plenty of pep! It would beat a friend’s 350 T-Bird off the line and stay ahead until about 35 mph. I always wanted to put a 4bbl carb on it but never had the opportunity before I had to give it up. It was a fun little car and I would jump at the chance to own this one you found or one like it in its condition. Good luck on acquiring it. I found a few pics of mine…
  24. Oddly I just turned on the tv and there were the Monkees!
