Im planning on buying my first air brush after I get my tax returns. Im hoping to keep it under $250 total. Any suggestions, keep in mind , Ive never used an airbrush before.

I was buying from an oline company, lucy model in Tokyo. But they recently screwed up an order of mine realy, realy bad (you dont want me to get into it). Im looking for a new palce to buy online, ive found that buying outside the US gets me a much better price than my local hobbly shop, even with shipping. Does anyone have suggestions, I build mainly car models, so military isnt of to much interest to me.

Id love to see the VW Scirocco and Corrado. Ive been told that the Scirocco has been done, but Ive never found one. If anyone knows of some me and my dad buy them.

Since your all on the topic of interior paints. I dont have an airbrush (yet). I took a rather loong break in my model building. Without an airbrush what is the best way for a good interior finish? Spray's or hand painting. Also, can I get a "cloth like finish" with any of those methods or do I need to go another way?

Excuse me for making a negative comment (I do most of mu net surfing while drinking). But isnt it a little tough to critize a model of a car that hasnt actually been released yet?

How do I get the paint to stop drying in the threads of my paint bottles? I have to use plyers to get the covers off of them after they have been sitting for a while. I hate to spend $3 or $4 over and over on the same paint color.

This way my daily driver, until the head gasket blew. 1990 VW Corrado G60. Many modifiactions (mostly interior and electronics), since Im an installer by trade. Im riding with the GF now, untill the engine rebuild/swap is done.

Im starting a Porsche Carrera GT. The pictures I have show some carbon fibre parts. Ive found some carbon fibre decals, one even had cutouts for this car, but Ive never had to much luck using large decals on countoured parts. I tried it last on a motorcycle gas tank and it looked horrible. Does anyone have any tips on doing Carbon fibre. I also am wondering how to get a leather look for seats, if anyone can help with that.

Ive never been to a model show. Id love to go to one. Does anyone know of one in the Mass/NH/Ri area?
