  7. I remember seeing a '69 Firebird in that exact same color in my neighborhood growing up. You really captured the look of it really well. Love the paint, the wheels look fantastic and the engine compartment is awesome! Great job Mr. Bregi!
  8. It helps a lot Brendan, thanks!
  9. I have some Cobra Colors Primer, both the Moon Mud and VX Primer, neither of which I've used before (I forgot that I even bought them!). Should I spray sealer on the plastic first, or can I just shoot the primer on and work from there? If I do need a sealer, can anyone recommend a good one? TIA for the help.
  10. I ordered some styrene...round rod, rectangle rod, clear sheet, and a mitre box. Last night I ordered a couple of R/M 32 highboys. I have it from good sources (my son) that my bride got me a gift certificate from Detail Master for my birthday next week. She's good people that wife of mine, I think I'll keep her.
  11. I'm new here...I'm 34 and live in Ronkonkoma New York. I'm originally from NYC, and have been working for the phone company for 11 years. I have one 16 year old son. I've been building my whole life, with several hiatus' (or is it hiatii?) over the years. I build planes (USN and USMC aircraft) and cars. I love hot rods, muscle cars and sleepers. At best, I'd describe my models as "four footers"....they look pretty good.....from four feet away!
  12. By jar, I'm thinking you mean a glass jar with a feed nozzle/cap that goes into the airbrush...if thats the case, look on the lid of the jar for a small hole, if this small hole is clogged with paint, it could cause the air bubbles you are talking about. If its a metal cup you're talking about, then like Bob said, its clogged somewhere in the feed to the airbrush.
  13. Wow, Uwe, your interior work is awesome! The sheen/texture on the seats is the most realistic I've ever seen!
