Looking good, as for the lacquer paint your going to need a good coat of automotive primer as the Lacquer is a hot paint and may harm the plastic if not primer correctly.
I've been using Scalecoat wash away paint remover for several years now and I love it. Now my problem is finding it as the local Hobby Town has closed its door . I'll have to check the web.
Thanks guys for the info. I was brush painting with acrylic paints and it was not looking to good. wasn't getting the coverage I wanting without streaks or straight lines by hand

as for the interior that looks killer. What type of paint did you use and did you brush the paint or air brush it.

nice paint coverage for your 1st time using Folkart acrylic. I've tried using it for my interior work and still haven't mastered it. will try airbrushing next. Color looks nice too
