Thanks so much guys, was gone for couple days so I’m sorry for the late thank you’s. Gbdolfans, the paint is Tamiya, pure white, and TS-92 metallic orange. I saw a post by someone a couple years ago that used it, and I wrote it on the wall lol. I wish I could remember who and what site, I would give him the credit for it. But he had it right, it looks pretty darn close! ?

Wow! Really clean work. That’s a hard color combo to beat. When you see a lot of the cars on the road today it’s hard to believe something that beautiful could be bought off a showroom floor at one point in time. Nice ?

Very nice, and a very nice story too! My son is 18 and has no time or desire at the present for models, but he built several snap and a few glue kits as a young kid, and I’m sure he’ll pick it back up someday. His cars are in display cases on his shelf still, and I get a special feeling looking at them, because it reminds of the time we spent together working on our cars and talking and listening to music.
