  1. I decided to change the front valance to more resemble the one from the drawing I based my concept on. Here is what my car is based on, it's the early renderings of the Charger concept featured in Popular Hotrodding magazine
  2. Yep, It'll be black and gold, wich makes it that much more involved in paint prep, it has to be perfect. I'm using the decals from the Monogram car andthe bird takes up the WHOLE hood! It will also have the '77 T/A dash and steering wheel (black interior). Under the hood is another hurdle. Ihate that weird cover the Camaro kit has and that engine is UGLY!!! I'm thinking of shoehorning in an updated 455!
  3. Looks like it's coming along good Mike. Good job on that lettering. I finally showed your car to my friend Brian Saturday and he really likes it too. I changed the front valance on my '06-9 Charger and I'll post a few pics later. Don't know if I mentioned it, the car I based my concept on is the early renderings of the photoshop drawing ( the terquoise one) that was in Popular Hotrodding magazine.
  4. Nice builds! I have one of the Vending Machine kits. I haven't started it do to the lack of the decals I wanted. I want to make "the Dr.Pepper Rod", a tribute to my favorite sodapop! The paint on the Merc is awesome!!!! good job so far.
  5. What I do is I minimize my forum window and open another one for my photobucket, then I copy the image (img) code and paste it in my post.
  6. Oh well, it's ALWAYS my fault lol. Welcome to the forum Mike, good times had by all. The Charger is coming along great and that Viper V-10 should get the job done! Awesome job on the bodywork, any colors in mind yet? As far as my Charger goes, I'm gonna go with sublime green. It will have a 426 HEMI with a modern fuel injection set up, a Viper trans, and scratch built true dual exhaust. Most recently I created the door scoops using a pair of '95 Firebird hoods and the're starting to blend nicely. Check out my other build: my '07 Trans Am based on the Kevin Morgan design
  7. That thing looks sweet! Excellent bodywork, it looks like a factory concept car. You've got to go with one of AMC's BIG BAD colors! The stance looks right on and I dig the side pipes (an AMX factory option). great work. Check out my redesign of the '06 Charger (the '06-9 Charger). I've posted new pics of my recent progress.
  8. I've wanted Burt's Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit since I was 3 years old. So, I bought an '81 last year and I'm in the process of converting it into the '77 gold edition. I changed the nose, rear spoiler ends and the steering wheel so far. my Dad and I and our toys my friend Brian's 1:1 General Lee
  9. Some progress. I molded the rear bumper, and the door scoops are made from '95 Firebird hoods!
  10. This is one of my survivors, an MPC from 1985. I'm currently building the 1:1 of the Bandit T/A
  11. That came out really good, nice paint and detail!
  12. novadose71, do you think you could get some rear end shots of those T/As? Also, HOW did the builder of the black car do the pinstripes?!!!
  13. Recently, rat rods were the theme at my model car club meeting so...... I call it the Rat Bandit!
  14. WOW!!!!!!!!! There AWESOME! Thanks so much for sharing those. Your group display came out great! Impressive bodywork, and I'm drooling over those handmade snowflakes! I'm working on a 1:1 Bandit clone (currently in primer)
  15. That is gonna look sweet! It was one of my favorites from the Auto Show. Good start so far, keep us posted
  16. Thanks Jairus, I've updated my signature. I'd like to see a pic or two of your T/A concept model. I have seen the one you mentioned on Kevin Morgan's myspace page (Trans Am Concept) along with an updated version of the black car. He added snowflake wheels, t-topped the roof, and changed the back window. Now the model and the drawing are almost the same. The only differences are the exhaust and the wheel flares.
  17. It began as the Testor's '06 Charger R/T. It was kitbashed with a Monogram '69 Charger! I wanted a 2 door retro styled Charger.
