  1. Hmm,Do you plan on using those wheels for your California Kid?
  2. Until then you could post more, Pictures of the other Cars You have built. We are Not shy We will look at them.
  3. Beautiful The Framework is spectacular, the entire car is amazing too.
  4. Cool Score Jesse, I like the Ford Van. I have heard recently that it is going to be reissued soon.
  5. Basically to me it is a very High Tech decal.
  6. If your previous paint is Rough, or Grainy. You could knock that texture down, with some fine sandpaper.
  7. Mark this is Chuck about two weeks before He passed away. His Admiration for Drag, and Street Rods was prevalent in the models He built. By the way Good Job Chuck would have approved. If you are Interested in seeing the Models of Chuck Granger. Many of them are featured at this site www.moonlightmodelers.com where Chuck was a member for 15+years
  8. Sounds to me that need to open up the needle, a little more and raise the paint flow.
  9. Very nice beginning Zoltan
  10. I was at HL a week and half ago,I had asked about the Sox& Martin Cuda. A manager told me that they were clearing out several models, to make room for the new ones coming in.
  11. Is that a grounding strap, shown in the video with the airbrush?
  12. I have a question's about Early 60's dragster's. What type of sicks would likely have been used during that time. Pie Crust, or Smooth sided, wide, or Narrow. what color would the Scatter shield be and what was the Materials likely made from Mounting Plate, Scatter shield, drive line cover/ coupling ?
  13. Bill the most difficult part to foil, would be the spot on the rear fender.the remaining should be very straightforward.
  14. The Engine looks fantastic. As does the rest of the car. I do think it would be better, with the Gray wheel spokes, versus the chrome. Just adds a little more Pizzaz.
  15. You may be thinking of the tires from the Chevy dually snap kit.
  16. Cool Another Great guy named Bill.
  17. Not in my Opinion.
  18. To think if they would have done this earlier, they wouldn't have had to destroy so many real chargers.
  19. Createx gives tech info on their website. if you want to use acrylics stick with that until you are comfortable with it. Jumping around to Enamels, and Lacquers isn't hard, its just confusing the Issue. If you use Createx I suggest you get the High Performance Reducer #W-500 it will make your life easier. You can clean up with Windex, or Water. they even make an Airbrush cleaner if you want to buy that. Do not Use Lacquer to clean out the paint after spraying, Because it turns the Createx Paint into a solid very quickly. Unless you enjoy rebuilding Your new Airbrush. What Type of brush did You Buy? Gravity,Siphon, or are you using the color cup?
  20. Bill you can E-Mail Jameston direct. He has many Silver toned colors with a fine grain pigment, to choose from.
  21. Dan Have you done any more work on this truck? I think this is the way it was the last time I seen it. Many years ago.
  22. Beautiful Color Choice Pete, and truly a clean build up of a Classic car.
  23. Nice Custom job. I see a need for more paint storage in the future.
  24. A suggestion for this is to start out Spraying on some paper first, to get a feel for the AB. Add a little bit of reducer, Usually no more than 50/50 mix and start spraying. What type of AB did you get?
