  5. I had a limited budget today too. I saw a guy selling lots of military planes He had a 1/35th scale Huey Gunship from Academy for $37 listed but, was open to offers. I offered $32 which was all I had left upon noticing that. He Graciously gave me back a Five. Very Cool I thought.
  6. She had Ties here in Arizona for a long time. It's been so Hot here, I can see why she moved.
  7. Take the death of Faith Mascolino. The car that struck the patrol car where Mascolino sat handcuffed was traveling at an estimated 100 mph. Was It the Speed that killed factor. That killed Faith Mascolino, or having his body pushed thru a Prisoner partition?
  8. This only the second week that the Hobbytown has been open.Give them some input,it might surprise you on there willingness to listen and get some aftermarket parts. Which to me is what brings in the business. More so than just Kit's.
  9. Very Sad News. The Modeling world has lost a truly Great Builder, as witnessed on the pages of Fotki. I did not know Todd personally. However I enjoyed the Models He built. My deepest Condolences to His Family.

  13. Duplicolor Grey Fine Scratch filler primer, for general use. Citadel Skull white primer, its close to Tamiya but in a much larger Quantity. Scalefinishes grey primer, easy to use very fine pigment, sands super smooth.
  14. WD-40 or Mineral Spirits would work it is less destructive than Laquer or Alcohol. You just want to Attack the adhesive not the paint.
  15. Here is an Update on my purchase of the 50 Olds Convertible, from Missing Link Resin Casting. I recieved it yesterday "Thursday" in the mail, GeeZ I only Ordered it "Sunday" Which I consider Lighting fast delivery. Cast in a white resin, it feels a little bit Stouter/ heavier than the Styrene version, but is as beautiful as the kit body. I Only found two blemishes in the resin parts, one was filled with resin prior to shipping, the other is barely visible. The Molded seats have all Engraving removed, leaving them smooth which could be handy for some custom upholstery. I have not seen many of these Convertibles in my lifetime, Smooth may be completely Stock, I just Don't know. In conclusion I would like to say this is a Fantastic kit for a beginnner, just starting to use resin, or a more experienced modeler who prefers resin kits. Whatever your case Missing Link has put out a Nice product here, and if you bought one you would Not be disappointed. Thanks Kevin. Keep putting out the Great Products, I will buy more. Happy 10th Birthday, and many more. Gabriel.
