  1. The Interior is painted a Gunmetal grey, I agree its a little dark I have considered respraying it in Aluminum. Body color is going to be Lemon Twist Yellow. I painted the wheel back's white (I remember this while growing up in the early seventies and have always liked it) . I still have a way to go this is such a fun car to build, Very basic but cool at the same time. Thanks for looking Gabriel.

  6. I have decent Luck with Castrol Super clean. (AKA the purple pond) Its a Concrete Floor cleaner sold at Automotive stores and places like Walmart, or ACE hardware. If the glue is somewhat fresh it works really Fast if the glue is Older I have had it take up to a week and sometime the plastic Can become a slightly Brittle On a scale of 1 to 10 its an 8.75 It also Strip's Chrome. hope this helps Gabriel
  7. That looks great. I have built that kit once before, They sure are Cool. I really like the Color and the detail painting on the Blower Case.
  8. My advice Harry would be too search out, An Older good condition Unimat Combo jewelers lathe. You can find these with many Accessories most of the time, For a better Price than a Sherline which would'nt be a combo and cost several hundred dollars more. Doing this would Allow you time to fine tune your Machining Skills, And if you find that if you want to jump to a higher level the unimat does have a good resale value. Sherline looks great but if you dont use it very much, Its just wasting money that you could use on your hobby. Whatever you decide Remember one thing Be careful when using the machine and wearing a Necktie!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gabriel.
  9. I have had this same problem Abe. I switched over to the Testors brand. It has been very good to me. Gabriel
  10. Oh very good start I like opening door's Gabriel
  11. I have been watching since you started the project, Your attention to detail is Awesome and the entire project is just so well done. The only Problem I see is maybe with the Header's, They look a little thick on the inside diameter. It could be the picture, But they may just need to be reamed out some.IMHO Thanks, Gabriel.
  12. Sorry for the loss of your Freind, He was a very Talented builder.

  15. Last week 5/31/08, I picked up the April Issue of MCM. It had newly Arrived, Was this a scheduling error or was it due to the computer crash? I was expecting the may/june issue to be there. I will be Patient the magazine is worth the wait, Although I would still Appreciate a heads-up if you could announce the release date. And by the way the LHS I deal with is HobbyTown in Gilbert Az. Thanks for reading your biggest magazine fan Gabriel.
