I was just thinking of doing a rat rod so I will jump in if that’s ok. I will just have to dig through my kits and find something to biuld when I get time.

I daily drove my 77 Ford F-150 4x4 with a 400 and a C6 for about two months and it was the scariest/funnest things I have ever driven. The bad The suspension is very stiff, the track bar mount is broken so the front end will sway from side to side, tires sound like 4 helicopters following you around every where you go, it’s straight piped with the exhaust shooting out right under your feet so if you don’t want to die from carbon monoxide poisoning the windows have to stay open, the heater doesn’t work so it is cold every morning, it gets 8 mpg, fuel gauge doesn’t work so I pack a extra gas with me for when I run out of fuel, the speedo is out by about 20kmh so when it says you are doing 80kmh you are actually going 100kmh, the lights randomly burn out, the tailgate dose not open, the striker post are worn out so the doors bounce around, the transmission shifts very hard, the brakes barely work and I have to top up the brake fluid before and after work, it burns just as much oil as it does fuel, the windshield wipers don’t work, the temp gauge doesn’t work (it doesn’t matter because you know it is always over heating), and it is very rusty. the good you get thumbs up from everyone else on the road, people stare at you when you drive by, you feel like a hero every time you make it home safely, it sounds cool and it has enough power to do a burnout.

Well another one of these old fords found its way on my trailer today.....

Thanks guys. I have painted the frame and the motor. Now I am deciding on air cleaner and paint colour and would like your guys opinion. I was thinking of maybe a turquoise colour like this. That’s what I am actually wanting to do with it. I am trying to find a 383 and I have the front suspension for it the only problem is that since it has sat for over 30 years and the guy that I got it off of didn’t have the papers for it it will have to go through a vehicle inspection and be re-vin’ed and I don’t know how well it would go if you can climb into the trunk though the rust hole in the side of the car.

Today I was going through my truck because I have a very bad misfire and when I opened the hood I notice that my coolant was almost completely empty and my oil was low so after talking to some people I have come to the construction that my head gasket is bad and the only way that I can fix it is if I pull the cab off the frame. My truck has over 300,000km on it but it still is a little frustrating.

I just got one of the new 66 Ford f100’s. Now this is my first time doing a slammed pickup so I might not be doing everything perfect. I am using the stock frame that I have heavily modified with a revell Ford svt lighting front suspension, a giant C notch in the rear and I will do a Ford 9” and engine from the revell nascar. Comments welcome.

Today I got the new revell GTX to recreate my 1/1 67 satellite aka the satellite that fell out of orbit. First of here is some info on the car. It is a 1967 satellite that I got last year for a $50 dollar bill. It was a 383 4bb 325hp with a 727 and was a beautiful copper and black two tone and then in the mid 70s it was painted a cool white and green and as far as I know it drag raced locally with a biult up 383. Now it is in very ruff condition and has sat on its side for the past 30 ish years as the previous owner bought it for the motor until I purchased it and removed it from the trees. I will be building it as how it currently sits and possibly make a diorama base that I can set it on to make it look like how I originally found it on its side. I’m doing alright. Just a little sore. Yeah that’s the first time I have blown up a motor. I guess that’s what happens when you are spinning a motor at 6000 rpm when it is only rated for 3600 rpm max. It wasn’t a minor steering linkage failure, it was a major colition with another mower. I am under the two mowers where the red circle is.

After a weekend of mower racing I blew up one motor, crashed another mower and rolled it then I had another mower driver overtop of me. I’m good but my mowers are not.

By the looks of it I will be spending some money soon.

We had no power last night along with 150,000 other people all across Northern BC due to one transformer being struck by lightning.

This biuld is inspired by ken block’s honicorn 4wd twin turbo Mustang. My car will be twin turbocharged as well with independent suspension on all four corners, 4wd, full roll cage and of course a 426 HEMI. The body is a amt 1969 Plymouth gtx on a amt nascar frame with a 426 HEMI and revell Lamborghini rear suspension.

I went to go drive the old 77 today and I heard some grinding and clunking in the front end. I was expecting a u joint or a wheel bearing but after pulling the wheel off my brake calliper just feel right out. It turns out that the retainer clip went missing and was only held on by the rim.

I went to an auction yesterday and got a lot of old car magazines and auto trader.

A Diamond T got dropped off at the shop that I work at today that we will be doing a full restoration on soon.
