  1. Congrats Matt!!! That looks like a great kit.And , to get it for what you did is incredible!! :D Please post pics of the build as you go and the finished one. I love that car and have been trying to find one I can afford. Very nice luck!!!
  2. Nick, It looks great sitting in my garage!!!!! I put it next to my Ferarri FXX. You are talking about pictures,RIGHT??
  3. I hear you. I find it amusing that someone could spend that much money on an item such as this and you have people as myself that have to work 2 jobs to pay our bills. It is different to look at!!!
  4. Hey everyone, Check this out,it is incredible!!! http://www.tgdaily.com/games-and-entertainment-features/49663-1936-bugatti-sells-for-40-million I think it is interesting.

  6. :D Hey Harry, This is just my opinion but I just don't care for the ID part. I always have no idea what it is and don't have the google skill or time to try to find it.I guess I will just have to take a break on these weeks. I do love the ROM and will look forward to it!!!
  7. Thanks Pat, That makes great sense to me.
  8. I see that several of you use the gray primer. Why do you use gray instead of white, for a cleaner color.Do you tone down the top coat with the gray?
  9. Hi Gregg, I agree 100% with you on this. You, Harry, and Pat do a great job on the magazine and on this forum. You will not see me post on ant inflaming threads.I enjoy building models and seeing other's builds.I love to browse here to get ideas and learn tips.I am sure my skill level is not up for posting pics due to health.but,I am getting better with what I learn here. I have a nice stash and probably not live long enough to build them all.Oh well. I really do appreciate all the work you do.It is the best forum on the net.I used to be a subscriber a while ago,and probably reup as the LHS that carried it closed(Model Mania).I just have to fit it in my budget. :D Thank you Gregg,Harry, and Pat for doing a tough job. Now,back to browsing and building. :D
  10. OK Harry, You are making them tougher and tougher to try to figure out.I went with real on this one.Something about the windscreen and tires. I am probably wrong but it is a lot of fun to try.We need this in light of the recent events.
  11. Hey Gregg, this is a great start to a much needed segment of our forum.Whenever a new or reissue is out,I know a lot of modelers would love to see this type of review.
  12. Hey Gregg, I would love to see the pics, but, the link sends me to a login page.
  13. Yes!!!! This is the one I have!!!
  14. Hey Monty!!!! Are you FULL!!! If you have a Harbour Freight store near you, check it out. I have one about 3 miles from me and there are good finds there.I got a visor there with an optional extra round eyepiece that is GREAT!!! I think it was about $15-20 and works great.I use it all the time as I am an old fart and need the added vision. Hope this help.Sorry, don't know the name of it.
  15. WHOO HOOOO!!!! I think I am first today!!!! I voted model on this one. Something about it just yells this to me.
  16. Hey Harry, I went with model this week.Something about the door handle and the molding around the windows. We shall see Friday!!!
  17. WOW!!! Great job on the dio.The whole thing is very well planed. It shows a nice scene that could happen anywhere.Well, maybe not Alaska!! The beach and water looks great. How about telling us with pics how you did the water!!! You could do a tutorial on here on this. The truck is great also!!!!Love the color. OH by the way the girl is very nice, also.Where did you find her??? All in all, first class!!!!
  18. Hey Guys and Gals, To celebrate being only the 6th player to rush for 2000 yards,He got a new ride. Check it out here...http://sports.yahoo.com/video/player/news/Sports_Minute/18703272 I don't know why it didn't come up as a link, so just copy and paste. Just don't laugh to loud!!!!
  19. Hi Sam, Your dio is incredible!!! The attention to detail is great. At first,I thought the first pics were your reference pics. E-mail sent.
  20. Hi John, Your work is unbelievable!!!!!!! I have not seen that color scheme. When I was a lot younger,I saw it run. this is the color I am familiar with. What a show !!!!
  21. Happy Birthday,Gregg!!! 49??? I thought you hit that 10 years ago. :D Kind of like Jack Benny at 39!!!! Just kidding!!! Thank you for all the great work you do here and with the mag. :D
  22. I knew this one was real!!!! The giveaway to me was the bolt holes in the wing supports as was mentioned before. They were allen screws, used to adjust the angle of the wing. The biggest detail that gave it away to me is a small plate on each side at the lower corner of the rear window.I have never seen this on any model. There are two of them, one on each side, running from the window toward the wing supports.BTW-in the Plymouth Division, it was called a "horizontal stabilizer".I don't know about the Dodge Division. A great book to look for if you like these cars is "Supercars-the story of the Dodge Charger Daytona and Plymouth Superbird, by Frank Moriarty.Published by Howell Press. As I stated earlier,I was an original owner of an Orange Bird with a 440-6Barrel. The Six-Pack name was the same thing in Dodge. Thanks for reading, George
  23. :D Hey Harry, It's me again.I just enlarged the pic and I am sure it is real.If I am wrong on this one,I will be amazed!!!!I will tell you why on Friday. If this is a model, what scale and who built it???It would be an amazing model...
  24. Hey Harry, I voted real on this one.I used to own a real one and will tell you why fri if noone else mentions it.If it is a model, the person really paid attention to detail. If it is a model,I would love more info on it. George
  25. Hey Harry, First,Thank you for doing this RoM each week.It gives each of us something to do when we are snowed in. I voted model on this one.It looks like someone shot this with a narrow depth of field,as when shooting a model, and, the front end appears to be fuzzy(slightly out of focus). Of course it could just be my fuzzy eyes!!!!
