    Looking at what I posted I agree with your thinking....but after seeing Tim's build pics I am stumped..I do not think it is so much what was done but how its seen...Using this pic by Tim Boyd see how the "slab was rounded"... I still think the 1:1 will dislike this kit, but I love it and this look!!

    I thought as much...it is tough to get the subtleness...but I will get it..I did sharpen it a bit...not as much as the merc, the original is a copy of yours. EDIT Check the pic now

    I think your right Tommy.....BUT it sure does look great!! Mine has the rear end just about touching the frame and I'm just starting the pipes.

    stop by your local r/c store...ask if they have any used or prebuilt trucks. I run a team Associated old T2 and love it...couple of batteries and a change of tires and I'm ready to roll.....I spent a bunch a few years back and it's lasted fine.
