  1. Oh yea, ... right ( OW ... OW ... OW ... )
  2. don't last long ( when I think about all the Baseball card's I "Wasted" as a youth.... I wish I could go back in time .... and kick myself in the head ! )
  3. Dead squirrel's included ( Toupee's and dead squirrel's look the same )
  4. Actually.... Barris built three of them for the movie. All three were destroyed during filming.
  5. I will "N O T " buy a wraped kit unless I know the person ( unless it's a hobby store) I was at a swap meet a few year's back. I found a "Haulin Hearse" kit ..... I WANTED IT ! The seller was asking $45. It was sealed. When I picked it up..... it rattled...... like BROKEN GLASS ! I told the seller I wanted to purchase the kit , but I wanted to see the kit first. He said " no,if you open it it's no longer a collectable" But I'm going to by it, so what does it matter. Nope. buy it first. I walked away.
  6. Trucker's have a lot of rule's to follow, They have to keep track of their hour's behind the wheel, their cargo, their weight ( the truck....not themselves) ect. ect. They must stop at Port of Entry / weigh station's for weigh -in, and the "occasional" inspection. Most state's have a 26,000 lbs cut-off for commercial vehicle's. Under 26,000 lbs your not required to stop at weigh station's ( This varies by state ) but quite a few state's require ANY commercial vehicle to stop ( this include's anybody with a business logo on the side of their vehicle to stop.... even if it's a small pick up truck. The "Not For Hire" logo tel's law enforcement that " This is NOT a Commercial vehicle", and therefore not subject to carrying logbook's or weigh -in's . HOWEVER: there are a few state's where this is changing ( Arizona has become quite "Draconian" in it's stupid catch-all law's . to the point that if you rent even a small U-Haul to move from point A - to - B you have to stop at weigh station's . No matter what you weigh ! Even if you are a "Private citizen ! And if you packed it wrong and have too much weight in the truck, your gonna get a ticket !)
  7. The other member's here have given good advice / tip's , so I wont repeat them. But I will say... 1: The car look's great ! 2: I like the Silver and Blue combination. They go together like "Milk and Cookie's ". 3: Nice job on the decal's . The large one's on the Hood / Roof / trunk can be a "Bear" to get snuggled down without air Bubble's getting trapped under them. Your's look PERFECT ! I have been building model's for 45 year's ,and "Still" can't get decal's to go on perfect every time. ( My Hammer usually fix's the problem.....)
