  1. Cool stuff, Bernard!! The whole thing came together very nicely!! Is the spedo a decal or something else you made? Later,
  2. Thanks, Mike. Yeah...I switched to another skin color and it fixed the problem... Later,
  3. That reminds me of a resin kit that my friend Jerry Cardinal once built. The resin was so thick that he had to use his Skil saw to cut open the hood.
  4. Very nice build, Tom!! The color and the detail work are awesome!! Thanks for sharing,
  5. Very nice, Steve!! Can we get some larger pics for us old guys? Later,
  6. Gregg, I tried using the chat room through the link at the top of the main web page but I can't see what I'm typing and I can only post a message if I select an emicon first... Suggestions?
  7. Thanks, Alyn!! Sure...maybe in early June we can setup a Saturday or a Sunday to swap ideas and trade secrets...until then I've got Mother's Day coming up, a house to rent, an ailing grandfather...and a whole bunch of other stuff to deal with... Later,
  8. Nice build!! And, I like Sublime Green, too!! It definately gets your attention!! Later,
  9. Another extremely clean build, John!! Thanks for sharing,
  10. WOW!! That's some pretty wild stuff!! I like the whole thing!! Thanks for sharing,
  11. Yeah...I can fix the bodies when they get hit...but you can fix the mechanical stuff when they break down... Thanks, Jeff!! Yeah, those coffee can things that came in the kit are a bit much. The small pieces of tubing are much less distracting. In Jarius' original design, there are no tips showing. Later,
  12. Go Bernard, go!! Each one looks better than the last!! The engine detail looks great, including the fule lines up to the injectors!! Don't stop now!! You're almost there!! Later,
  13. Cool stuff, Lyle!! The engine detail looks GREAT!! Thanks for sharing,
  14. What can I say...it's still one of my favorites...
  15. GREAT WORK, Samantha!! You should be very proud!! Thanks for sharing,
  16. Yeah...it's a nice looking frame, but I only want to see it when I'm looking at the bottom of the model. Thanks! I'm not sure that these mods are worth making a resin copy of. They were actually pretty simple. The one I wish I would have gotten a resin copy of was my '57 Z06 Chevy pickup. I put a lot of work into that body. Later,
  17. I finally got time to add a bit of material to the bottom edge of the rear panel and the rear fenders. I also filled in the slot on the rear door for the license plate. I will probably put the plate on the newly extended lower panel. I added it because I didn't like the way the frame was exposed in the rear and the slight misalignment between the rear panel and the rear fenders. I also changed the exhaust tips from those oversized coffee can things that came in the kit to some polished aluminum tubing. BEFORE: NOW: Well, it's about time to start painting the wood grain panels and the interior. Later,
  18. If that's one of your elves, I'm on my way!!! Later,
  19. How did this one sneak through without me seeing it earlier? You know how much I love Ferrari F1 cars!! They are just too cool!! Another GREAT looking build!! How many of those 1/20th scale F1 cars have you built? I know its a lot!! Later,
  20. WOW!! Look at you go!! Is there any model or style that you won't build? I've got to come down there one of these weekends and watch your elves at work. Next weekend won't work, (Mother's Day), but the weekend after that is probably OK... Keep 'em coming!! They all look GREAT!! Later,
  21. I'll second all of that!! Later,
  22. I saw this one at the NNL West. Pictures don't do justice to all of the amazing scratch building and detail work!! If I remember correctly, this one was a contender for the People's Choice Award. Thanks for sharing, John!!
  23. Nicely detailed weathering, John!! Did you make the clothes from paper? Awesome!! Thanks for sharing,
  24. Superb detail, as usual!! This will be another awesome build!! Later,
  25. Thanks, Bernard!! Yeah...I might move the license plate to the lower valance to soak up some of that expanded real estate...but overall, I like look...It helps sell the lowered running boards and covers up a bit of the exposed frame at the same time. Later,
