  1. Well got most of the interior done
  2. Yes this is the chop conversion that comes with the kit takes a little work to get it to fit and look good
  3. If it does it will not be posted on again as there is several other posts on here that I think should be in the pickup and truck section that shouldn't be on here either I for one don't care any more won't be posting any mpre updates or WIP on this site will just stand aside and read all the crying going on because I posted on the wrong place.

  5. THis site never evr had a truck and pickup section when it started everything was posted to the workbench I have been away so long didn't relize thatthey even had a pickup section . But this is the same reason i quit posting to this site becaise people complaining where stuff is posted been on here for over 10 years and now tink I will never come back
  6. Thanks for the tips haven't really looked at much of this stuff yet as I am still doing some modifications to some of the rest of the body
  7. Yes it is with a clear topcoat that has a gold pearl in it
  8. Well I have been on here a long time and have seen pickups on here but now I remember why I don't post on this sight to much any more to much negativity. I see i will just go back to not coming to this site and posting will just come and see if there is anyting worth looking at
  9. The door hinges in the kit are not very good. I drilled a hole in them and inserted a wire through them.
  10. The Tuck and Roll was a sheet of plastic that I cut the grooves in and then made a mold of it. Then I pour Craft paint in the mold and let it set up. Leaves a sheet of plyable paint that i just cut to fit the holes in the seat and doors that I cut out. Got the Idea from Steve Boutte .

  13. Well been i building slump so I got into three different Build offs in some groups on Facebook this is the work I have done so far on the 40 Ford pickup
  14. no I had the same problem stripped them and shot the alclad when the black was slightly tacky. I then set them to the side for a couple weeks

  17. Well I finally got back to the my own projects and finished this. Bumpers and sidepipes painted with Alcad rear one has some BMF on it. Just a curbside chassis made out of sheet stock

  22. All the black pieces are scratch built from plastic and used Model Car Garage photo etch carb linkage for some of the other pieces. Just plain old wire for the linkage rod. .Also made NOS plates under the carbs am making solenoids for the other side for the NOS lines and gas lines that will be going into the plates.

  24. No the color is testors one coat purple no matter how I took pictures it has come out looking blue
