  2. Get some Model master wet look clear. It is a good clear. Haven't had it yellow on me yet.
  3. Nice looking in those colors!! To me it sounds like the paint isn't thinned enough. I get the strings on HOK paint if it isn't thinned enough . It also acts like it is drying to fast if there isn't enough thinner.

  6. Okay got this idea from Steve Boutte. I bought a sheet of styrene that was in the shape of 1/25 scale tin roof. I cut out a sheet of it 3 by 4 inches and made a mold of it. Then I took some Plaid craft enamel paint and poured it into the mold and let it dry. Once I pulled that out I then cut the pieces for the seats that I had cut out and put braces in the back to hold the pieces of paint that I cut to fit. The gold ones are actually painted with lacquer paint. With the craft paint would be able to use any color as the picture show some done in blue. I did most of mine in white to be able to paint it in a color I need.

  9. I went with another body as i wanted to go another route with the other one. Building 2 of these at the same time when I get the other body paint fixed will be posting that one as well
  10. Now I have 5 coats of clear on it all I need now is to wait and polish it out.
  11. Well I finally got back to this one. I grabbed another body and removed the Chrome trim from the sides then painted the same basecoat.
  12. Missed this the first time around and am enjoying this. I am actually going to do the VooDoo Creeper one of these days Bought a 53 Chevy kit to do it with will probbaly just do mine as a curbside.

  15. The Hobby Lobby I go to the managers there have told me if they didn't have a model on the shelf that i wanted they would order it for me.Haven't ever done it but may have to some day. I go in all the time to look for anything I can use for models.
  16. Going to use Pegasus Sovereign's with the narrow white wall tires on this one have an idea for one with 4 Bar lancers
  17. The Color is HOK Solar Gold After spraying it decided to go another route but still going to use the Gold
  18. Doing this as a Mild Kustom. Have the basecoat on it. Also have the rear seat cut out for Tuck and Roll

  20. Well lets see I have over 20 of the Revell 49 Merc, 16 of the 50 Olds, 12 of the AMT 56 Ford, 15 of the the Different Versions of the 32 Ford from Revell and 10 or more of the 57 Fordfrom both manufacturers. I have more thes were just off the top of my head.

    55 chevy

    Well after over a year of not touching a model I pulled this 55 Chevy back out. I had most of it painted it just needed to be put together. Finished it last friday.
  22. This is what I got last week the 51 Chevy and the 58 Thunderbird were bought off ebay. The rest I bought from a friend who was selling out his collection.
  23. I Still Impulse Buy but not as much as I used to Have just been buying anything from the 30's to late 50's kits and been selling off everything else.Have over a dozen of the revell 49 merc now and 5 or 6 of the AMT 49 Merc. Been buying all the 49 Fords I can find and the 56 Ford from AMT.
  24. Can't they order one for you as Hobbytown In Wichita has done that for my daughter when they were sold out. I have since subscibed to the mag actually Daughter gets that for me as a Christmas present now.
