Finally getting some more done on this. Getting the dash and steering wheel close.

Okay now that I can post again. This is how I made the knobs. I laminated clear red and white plastic with thick super glue. Let it dry over night. I then cut a strip from that I then filed one end to a rough shape of what I wanted. then I sanded it with 400 and 800 grit sand paper to the final shape. Then I cut it off the end and drilled a hole it it to accept the wire. Then I dipped it in clear lacquer paint. Steve Boutte shows how he does this on his webste and he just did an article in the other mag talking about it as well

Less than 2 weeks to go for the show

Made shifter lever and blinker lever knobs also accessory knobs for the dash

Got the color shot and clear as well couple more coats of clear and I can polish it

Have some Cadillac Somberos with a bullet in the center I am going to use

Finally getting back to working Got most the body work done. Need to sand with some 800 grit paper and shoot another coat of black primer. then I can shoot the color.

Yes it is Two Tone I used House of Kolor Cocoa Pearl on the bottom and House of Kolor Cinnamon Pearl on the roof . I have in progress pics of it in workbench part of the forum. it has the same name as this one.

Less than a month away

While working on my 57 Ford and waiting on paint to dry on it. I decided to work on this as well as everything was painted. After over a year after I started this It is finally finished.
