Land Rover
GeeBee replied to mrmike's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
White was only available for fleet vehicles, i.e police and other utilities, and wasn't available to the public, that changed after the V8 phase one and the later 110 Land Rovers. -

Can't believe it's been over there years this one has been sitting on the backburner, having a tidy and rearrange in the hobby room, found this one stored in various plastic tubs, tried a dry fit and things didn't want to go together, the ribbed floor I'd made was slightly too long, it needed about 3mm trimmed off it, then the side panels I'd scratch built needed sanding slightly so they could line up with the interior, but now everything fits just fine, just got to do a little airbrushing, engine, gearbox and front suspension and it was all go together permanently.

So instead of giving up a Series 2 which had been shown in their catalogue since it was announced,we get a re-released version of the older Esci kit, with a few extra parts.

Body is in primer I'm hoping I'll get the time next week to get some paint on it, paint was supplied by MCW lacquer

Cheers Shay, I'm not too happy with the seat belt decals, as they look way out of scale, but as it's a magazine article, and the kit was supplied by Revell, I had to use them.

Unfortunately,I think it is, I'm fine when I've got plenty of work on, then I've either no time to go on the computer or I'm too tired.
