  1. I very nearly forget to paint the inside of the bootlid and bonnet, the white wall inserts were airbrushed with Hycote white primer, the rear inner wheel arches and boot floor and spare wheel well was airbrushed in Larkspur blue, once dry it can be masked so the rubber boot matting and interior carpet can be painted.
  2. I'm finally calling the polishing on this one finished, now for the BMF
  3. I had mine delivered a few weeks ago, it will be built after I've built the Porsche Junior for a magazine review
  4. Very nice, I might well have to find myself one of these....
  5. Very impressive build, those seats are real nice.
  6. I've never dealt with Jimmy Flintstone before, although I've heard nothing but good things about there products, so I've just ordered a few '57 Ford's, a Ranchero pick up and Courier van
  7. I've already got the later Revell version, but I've got plans for this one, I'll be ordering the Ranchero from Jimmy Flintstone. http://jimmyflintstonestudios.com/?product=nb292-1957-ford-ranchero
  8. I really need to stop ordering kits now....
  9. That's the one side polished, I really like working with MCW lacquer, easy to airbrush and easy to polish out.
  10. In between starting a couple of magazine articles, I've been working on the polishing of the roof panel, I think I'll leave it alone now.
  11. Absolutely brilliant build, I can't really add to the comments already left....
  12. I've got the Revell 150 to build, however the convertible is proving harder to find, however the ipms nationals is on in just over 5 weeks, and there's usually a good selection of dealers there.
  13. Very nice build....
  14. I really should stop looks on Ebay ended up buying these two
  15. Very nice build, and one I've never seen built, I've just been on Ebay and bought one...
  16. I never used to build any American cars because I couldn't get hold of the correct colours, and I'm a stickler for using the correct factory colors on my builds, since MCW lacquer started shipping their paints overseas, my American models have increased immensely, I've always wanted to build a 57 Chevrolet, I managed to pick up a couple at a very good price
  17. Stage one of the polishing done on the bottom half, masking tape was applied to stop me from burning through on the high spots, although the trim is going to be covered in Bare metal foil.
  18. Oh I do like models are a little different, I'm going to have to get a few of those.
  19. Bootlid polished, just starting on the bodyshell
  20. Thank you Al, of course I'll be posting on here....
  21. I've got the Porsche junior tractor to build for a magazine product review first, again I'll be airbrushing it in Porsche tractor red with cream wheels, both paints are available from a few tractor and construction equipment paint suppliers, 500mls are the smallest quantity i can buy, so I'm going to have a lot of paint left over.
  22. I'll be glueing it together, and also airbrushing it in Deutz dark green tractor enamel, the wheels are painted in an RAL code paint,Revell supply stickers in the kit for younger builders who just what to build it without painting, they also supply a waterslide decal sheet if you want to paint and detail the model,
  23. Started the polishing, Started by polishing the hood, still a lot to do, this is only the first stage, definitely not as easy as polishing clearcoat
  24. Polishing complete, now I can make a start on the BMF
