  1. Yes, completely box stock, I'm building it for a magazine review.
  2. Superb work, nice paintwork and details....
  3. Making a start on the polishing
  4. I've had worse fitting engines, although lining up the two small brackets on the gearbox that fit onto the chassis wasn't the easiest things to get lined up.
  5. Engine finished, just a few decals to apply
  6. Depending on what colour your going to be painting the body in, you might need to put a barrier cost on to stop the red from bleeding through.
  7. Today's job is to build up the engine
  8. Very nice build, looking forward to your progress, I'm building one at the moment in Chevrolet Grecian green metallic, very similar colour to yours.
  9. No problem, I was going to PM you, as I'd been looking at the photos of the 1:1 I'd downloaded, and couldn't see which part you were on about.
  10. Bodyshell was masked up so the lower part could be airbrushed in gloss black
  11. I've got a couple of Hasegawa Honda N360's, and there exactly the same, again not a cheap kit, luckily i got all of them sent over from a friend in Japan,so didn't cost me that much, but a company like Hasegawa really should hang their head in shame.
  12. I ordered a set this afternoon when I got home, $28 with the shipping to the U.K., They do a complete engine and engine bay which cost $50 plus shipping, but it was the lack of details in the interior that disappointed me.
  13. A little more airbrushing on the body colour parts.
  14. Just what was needed.... http://uscp-ua.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=657
  15. I think the airbrushing Gods must be looking over me lately, another job that went without any problems
  16. Trabant Lieferwagen all finished, I'll get some better photos taken before it goes into the display cabinet.
  17. Superb work Tom, not sure I'd like to spend a night in it though.....
  18. No it's fixed in the closed position, it's not really meant to be operational Tom, there's a choice of either having it displayed with the tailgate closed or in the raised position by using different gas strut supports, both are supplied in the kit, the one slightly broken hinge bracket i did when I was wet sanding the body.
  19. Rear window and C pillar air vents fitted.
  20. One down, just the other side to do,plus two wiper arms and door mirrors to fit, plus a few decals and this little Trabbi can go into the display cabinet, a few spots of slow setting epoxy on the bottom corners and two spots of UV resin in the top corners, what I like about the UV resin is that it dries crystal clear once it's set
  21. I've still got 5 Universal kits in the stash and one Saloon, I'm running out of ideas for them, I've also got a 601s Deluxe on the go, two tone paintwork and chrome bumpers), I still need to order the paint from Germany.
  22. Revell have updated the release date to the middle of October,so should be a few sellers at SMW selling them.
  23. As the saying goes "Make hay while the sun shines" but as I'm no farmer I did some airbrushing instead, chassis and a few other parts done, gearbox needs masking so I can airbrush the engine.
