  1. Thanks for posting, I've been that busy I've not got around to opening mine.
  2. Managed to track down this one in Marseille, France, seems impossible to find here in the UK
  3. Paint arrived for the little grey Fergie, from Eastwoods, nice to receive the free sample of the enamel thinners, but I'll be thinning out the paint with lacquer thinners.
  4. Extra holes drilled out with a 2mm drill bit and filled with 2mm evergreen plastic rod, and sanded flush.
  5. There's a lot of small fragile parts on this model, I nearly had the opportunity problem with the exhaust, just bent it slightly, but managed to get it back without breaking anything.
  6. I really should stop watching American Muscle Cars on Amazon prime, ended up buying another kit....
  7. Hopefully it will work out a lot betting than some models I've built with absolutely no indication where the mirrors or door handles are supposed to go, in the past I've used photos of the real thing for reference, and like you, in some instances drilled and pinned them in place.
  8. I've used the never version and didn't get on with it, but saying that,I never actually used the older formula, Alclad produce a water based acrylic clear that I've used with good results, there is another product I've heard some modellers are using, although not cheap. https://www.lakeland.co.uk/20286/Quick-Shine-Floor-Finish
  9. If it builds up as nicely as the '68 Chevelle I'm building at the moment I'll be well happy.
  10. Bare Metal foil all finished
  11. It's 100% going into the magazine, the kit was supplied by Revell for a product review, which has already been done, and a build up review, I'm hoping to get some more models off Revell in the new year, but they've already supplied me with a 1:16th scale VW Beetle to get built up, again for a magazine review.
  12. All of those listed are just models being re-introduced, some like the 69 Mustang and trabant are already out, nothing New from Revell will be announced until the German toy fair at the end of January 2020.
  13. Read this article and you'll understand why, https://www.stripes.com/news/germany-s-polizei-put-brakes-on-us-car-culture-1.467619
  14. Thanks Joe, I'm really enjoying this build, the chrome trim certainly makes it come alive
  15. Finished doing the BMF for tonight time to call it a day when the eyes get tired
  16. I've always had an interest in classic tractors, but apart from a few old Ertl models, I've never seen any 1:24th kits over here, and I'm not into collecting diecast models, which there are plenty of tractor models out there.
  17. Back on the BMF, starting with the side vent windows, a little more trickier but it can be done using one piece of BMF.
  18. Bonnet halves glued together, mold lines and join lines sanded smooth
  19. Next on the bench, Revell's Porsche Junior tractor, although this is a snap tite kit, it will be glued together, mainly because there's join lines where there shouldn't be, so once the glue dries the joints will be filled and sanded smooth before paint, some chrome parts that shouldn't be chrome have been stripped of the chrome, the chrome trim that goes in the centre of the bonnet will be fitted before gluing the bonnet halves together, again to get rid of the joint down the middle that shouldn't be there, it will covered in BMF after it's been painted
  20. I really should stop going on the internet late at night, ended up buying one of these....
  21. Very nice build, superb work on the interior.
  22. A little more BMF this afternoon, the centre of the bonnet vents need to be painted satin black once I've done the other one.
  23. Cheers Kerry,I'm pleased I'm back on this one, it's been on the backburner for a while, I'm hoping to get it finished before the end of the year so it can finally go into the magazine.
  24. The Revell Land Rovers have finally arrived....
