  1. I've been doing a little bit on this over the holidays, finally got the body and floorpan fitted together, I used 5 minute epoxy to secure the front and rear, the sides were held in place using double sided tape, I nearly forgot to add the washer bottle under the bonnet, luckily i remembered before the body went on,
  2. Oh, I don't use the Royal Mail unless I have to, inland parcels are sent using My Hermes, but most online stores use the Royal Mail.
  3. My last shipment was three models, cost me £10.52, just over £3.50 each kit, will cost you more than that to send one model kit inland in the U.K via the Royal mail.
  4. If I'm airbrushing enamel paint I always thin it with lacquer thinner
  5. Simply Stunning .....
  6. The only model I have from Tasca/Asuka is the 1/24th scale Bantam Jeep, very nice detailed kit
  7. O.K, this is going to be the last model I buy this year, Honest ....
  8. That's the same van as the regular Ebbro version, the shelves and bakery detail parts are made by Asuka, (used to be called Tasca Models)
  9. Just PM's you with their contact details,
  10. Saw it this morning, but I was on my tablet, so didn't see the photo's too good, was the box damaged at all ??
  11. I ordered both of these direct from Ebbro in Japan, I can put you in touch with someone there that speaks and writes very good English
  12. I wasn't going to buy any of these, as I don't usually build van, but this one is slightly different, being such an iconic van in France, been there so many times, and these were of course, everywhere
  13. And I spotted this going at a good price, so just couldn't say no ...
  14. Thought I had sold these when I had a bit of a clear out earlier in the year, some times I regret selling some of the models, so in the future I don't think i will, anyway Bought them, and guess what ? I didn't sell them to start with, oh well, you can never have too many models to build, right ??
  15. Shouldn't be too hard to cut it and angle it, I'm just making a list of paints I need to order in, still haven't decided what colour to do mine, that's when i get round to building it ....
  16. You know I don't get up that early ! .....
  17. Strange it's the same as the one on the Heller box and the same as in the box ....so Heller made a model of a broken Mehari ?? don't think so, don't think you could bend ABS that far without it snapping off
  18. An early 1970's Mehari ....What was that you were saying about the front valance ??
  19. thats a mehari 2, (1983) totally different front end, until 1969 the front valance was different, before '69 they didn't even had doors on them.
  20. Very nice, you can't beat the classic black on a 911
  21. The # 3 tip should be fine, sometimes I use the # 5 when using cellulose lacquer, I've never used Testors Aztek paints although I use a lot of their Model Master enamels, you shouldn't have to thin it too much, but try to get the consistency of the paint to the same as semi skimmed milk
  22. Got mine this afternoon as well, they were out of stock of the Renault 4 without the paints, so they sent me that one for the same price ....
  23. Firstly I would turn down the pressure to 20 p.s.i, and to me, it looks like you need to thin the paint a little more, I would practice on some scrap plastic or even plastic spoons before trying on car bodies, I use the same airbrush, why # tip are you using ?
  24. Yes, I got mine as well ......
