  1. Scott, Another great build. Your attention to detail is impressive. I know what you mean when you mention super glue on the clear plastic sheet. I have just had the same problem on the Autocar that I'm building. It looks like the vapours etch into the plastic, its made a right mess. Look forward to your next build.
  2. Good looking truck! The tanks look good polished and those exhaust stacks, there huge.
  3. Great looking Truck!! The big Ford looks well and would look great pulling a Reefer trailer in polished Aluminum or white.
  4. Great Looking Truck. Nice choice of colour scheme, works well.
  5. Scott, Interesting comments. I like your little tips on the lights and the bare metal foil. I've never used bare metal foil and always wondered how it is applied. From your description its would apppear to be extremely flexible. Many Thanks!
  6. Interesting Colour scheme. This will certainly turn a few heads driving down the road. Good Luck with the rest of the build.
  7. I am at present building an Autocar twin steer heavy dump truck. I bought the conversion kit from Spalding Trading and Shipping. It was the Badger BC27 at $ 50.00. Interestingly when the kit arrived there were no instructions but one very good photo of an Autocar twin steer dual drive heavy truck. The truck belonged to Wheat City Concrete. I say belonged because the truck appears to be in an auction to be sold. Interestingly on the side of the hood it says Autocar and underneath it CONST. The remainder of the word appears to be broken off. The kit only has the Autocar name plates and no Constructor name plates. Hope this is of interest. Best Wishes
  8. John, This old Pete looks great. Superb project. Look forward to your next truck.
  9. Looks good so far. Like the narrow hood.
  10. Great looking trucks. The green one is my favourite.
  11. Brent, Very Impressive. This would look even better photographed in natural light and a suitable agricultural background. Great Looking Truck and excellent weathering.
  12. Jerry, Great truck! Yes a beast. Jim B Check Dave Natale's web site: www.aitruckmodels.com He shows his Old Mack LM with the exhaust through the hood.
  13. I agree with Tim. That is a beast!!! Like the green paint and the custom painted Cummins diesel. Good Luck with the rest of the build.
  14. Dave, Paint is not one of my specialities. So I can understand your irritation. Good Luck with the build and good to see you back. Best Wishes
  15. John, The 359 looks great. The little window 359s are my favourite. I have plans to build a Little Window 359 with an extended hood as a heavy hauler in the near future. This little restoration gives me ideas. I've never attempted a restoration but can only have admiration for the efforts of those who do. This one looks like a new build. Well Done!
  16. Dylan, The Pete looks good. I like the colour scheme, the green and white work well on the Pete.
  17. Scott, The transmission looks good. Its a pity there aren't more transmissions available as Aftermarket parts.
  18. Great Looking truck! I like the colours, the blue looks just right with all the chrome and the big sleeper.
  19. Tim, Another great idea and a superb looking truck. I like the way you photograph your trucks in the natural light and in the right context with your surroundings to disguise the scale. This combined with the great details you put into your trucks make them look real. Well Done!
  20. Wow!! Kurt, Superb, great truck, great detail, great ideas, magnificant build. This was worth waiting for. Thanks for sharing it with us. Best Wishes and good luck with the next truck.
  21. I checked the Eaton Web site and found all kinds of really interesting information. There are videos of how to correctly operate the 13 and 18 speed manual transmissions. The transmission shown in the video is black. But they show a sectional view if the transmission in a blue colour. This may be just to help define the components. http://www.eaton.com/EatonCom/Markets/Truc...ssion/index.htm http://www.roadranger.com/Roadranger/produ...per13/index.htm Hope this is of interest and helps. Best Wishes
  22. I'll second that. Well if they cann,t maybe we could or more precisely we know someone in St Ignace Michigan could (Certainly in 1/24 or 1/25 Scale). But seriously does anyone have any details or information for the last 359 to roll of the production line. I have seen the odd one or two 359s for sale on Truckpaper.com, where the owners claim them to be year 2000 or 2005, 359 Peterbilt. But I don't know how this can be since checking on Tims web site the last 359 was built in 1987.
  23. Tim, Another great idea. Love the before and after theme. A question. The original No 1 was it supplied from the factory in white, no sun visor etc or was it painted in the blue and white with sun visor. In other words did Peterbilt restore it to the condition as it left their works in accordance with the build specification? Do you have a copy of the build spec? Superb Build! Look forward to your next one. Best Wishes.
  24. Pali What a superb looking truck. The colour scheme really suits it and works well with the chrome and interior. This would look great with a Great Dane Reefer behind it. Best Wishes and look forward to seeing your next build.
  25. Superb!! The wait is almost unbearable. Best Wishes
