  1. There all excellent. I like the Mack the best but there all pro looking builds.
  2. I love all these builds. I keep looking everybody’s builds and I feel like I’m still in the minor leagues compared to all these great builds everyone’s posting. Amazing detail Janne! Now Im craving some hooters wings!
  3. Yes excellent quality. Nice work.
  4. Clean builds and perfect looking.
  5. Yes awesome all of them and the diorama just unreal talent.
  6. Very realistic work. Great year! Seeing all these posts and I just realize how many great model builders there are here.
  7. Excellent builds. The bronco is cool looking. Terrific subjects and terrific colors!
  8. Yes I used the sticker from the bananas. ? Cattywampus is probably a little of both I had difficulty like I’ve heard a lot of other people with the warp in the windshield opening, I tried my best, I never thought to ask about in these forums, not sure I knew about these forum when I was building, so I never tried to correct with warm water or anything, wasn’t satisfied with it, paint job was nice but the “Cattywampus-ness” of it just never pleased me, thence the name and the for sale sign. i went hard this year, I was trying to have a good output for a show I was attending in September. I have two WIP now that I’m working on. had a lot of fun and got a little better with each one. Thanks for looking and all the nice comments. also buy a dehydrator. It saved me so much time on paint drying.

  10. I like that. Completely Obnoxious! Thanks man!
  11. Wheelie bars! If I had some I would’ve put them on.
  12. Hey guys I appreciate all the comments. I know it’s probably not technically the right height in the front to be a legal gasser. I was going for extreme, outlandish, over the top, attention getting, radical blasting off the light look! If I had more interest and patience I would’ve made an attempt at smoke off the rear tires and fire out of the exhaust. I rebuilt it from a mess and I got a few of the parts from a friend and my parts box. I keep trying to push my skills and get better. This was my 23rd build since I started building again in dec ‘16. It’s all fun. I only cussed a lil bit! ?
  13. Finished last night. Hope you like. Haven’t settled on a name yet.
  14. So I realized the kit didn’t have the front grille bumper piece. So I had one in my parts box from a 57 bel-air that I’ll make work. I had to sand and strip the red paint off but no problem. Debated all week about cutting the hood to let motor come up through. Even tried to get a lower profile engine but it loses the cool factor. I had already paint and added the flames to the hood but I carefully cut open the hood to allow the carbs to come through the hood. Added a moon tank and some grille inserts to nose piece. Painted and cleared piece. Still need to attach to rest of the body. Finished the headlights too. Working on some custom headers and this one will just about be finished.
  15. That’s a killer build!
  16. looks good to me too. Lets drive it to mexico!
  17. Thank you everyone for all the nice compliments. "bettie" turned out realistic looking. I really like using the salt technique and using different vallejo washes to weather and create a life for the models. Getting my airbrush was the best thing I've purchased to help with the realism. The detail and precision I can shoot paint is so much more than I can ever get with a rattlecan. Now if I could only do slick paint jobs like the ones I see posted here all the time. practice practice practice.
  18. Update on interior tub. Still need to finish roll bar. Dash has a little BMF, glue on gauge bezels, I scratch built custom shift boot, extra dash gauges. Sanded dash an door panels for a slight aged used look then I shot Vallejo matte varnish over entire interior.
  19. This was a quick rebuild. Whatta ya think? I put a Weathered paint job and on to the next one...
  20. Thanks for everyone’s input. I just wasn’t feeling the copper and should’ve known that was my answer if I had to ask. So re-did in chrome and I went over the flames to cover all the trim properly.
  21. I need some advice or opinions, first should I foil the chrome down the side of the 57 an partially cover some of the flame job. Second, what do you think of the copper on the 57 trim I did last night? I’m debating doing the trim around it and down the side to front fenders in the chrome foil.
