  1. Very Cool !! you really have to do a double take on the outdoor photo's!! The overcast sky and lighting really creates the illusion!! Love the pavement!! Love the build!!!
  2. This is bringing the hobby to the highest level. I can not get over the ability to create in scale!!! Clay Kemp and John Teresi are in my opinion, the top 2 builders and now we have 3!!! AMAZING, .... JUST AMAZING!! Merry HO HO to everyone!!
  3. Hey John

Had the pleasure of meeting you and your killer work at Salt Lake one year!! Don Garlits rail dragster crash! Was wondering if you ever used House of Kolor "ready to spray" paints on any of your projects??

  4. Hi there, sorry away on business. but yes I would be interested in the 63 vette dash

How can we hook this up?

    thanks

  5. I think super detailing is as difficult as a great paint job! Pre-planning the plumbing and the wiring then tying it all together is a real challenge in its self. Im a crazy detailer and it can certainly make you say a few choice words trying to accomplish your plan or shall I say your "illusion". So hats off to those builds. Contest table worthy and again great planning and imagination!!! Color,..... to each their own! If I could paint and detail like Clay Kemp or John Teresi,.....WOW!!!! Those are the masters of this great hobby and Im sure they have said a few choice words about their own builds!!
  6. Update on BBC 572! need more time at the hobby table these days
  7. hey gasser59 The engine will be going in a 37 ford, .....i think? or a 55 chevy step side? Not sure yet, gonna finish the big block soon!! working on the Muncie tranny next Thanks for the kind words!!
  8. Ram air intake and engine is TDR innovations. R&B motion rods, nuts, bolts. Alternator came from TDR also. Scratch built the power steering pump sanded it down to its shape then detailed it with R&B and photo etch from MCG and Detail masters. Photo's of various big block engines gets the idea going. thanks for your interest
  9. Hello, the latest update on this big block. On hold for the crank pulley. Trying to figure out how to wire the fuel injectors?? Gotta love the aftermarket stuff for 1/25 scale !!
  10. MRM, the quality of this stuff is the best of the best in my opinion, well worth the price!!
  11. Progress on the Big Block. been a challenge but fun,...
  12. Wish I had the stuff to machine my own parts, .... could be the next chapter of this great hobby?? I don't have the kit pulleys, this is from the parts box - but thanks

  15. Exotics_Builder! Your right, it is TDR innovations! Thank you I could not remember the name, I thought of Shapeways, could not remember TDR innovations. Great, great stuff! Thanks again, I will book mark that going forward!!
  16. Hey djflyer The engine is from Shapeways 3D Model Specialties 1/25 scale, and the linkage is assorted rods, nuts and bolts from R&B motion, the photoetch is from Detail masters. I found a photo online of a cross ram that had that type of linkage, just tried to duplicate that. Close sorta. Sorry don't have part numbers Everything is a click and a credit card away! WARNING that can be dangerous! Thanks for kind words Lorne
  17. Thanks Steve!!! I have been trying forever to achieve that color!! Again, thank you

  19. Power steering pump completed. Adding this to the Big Block!! Ended up scratch building. Treating each engine part like a model itself, kinda a cool way to approach the build i guess?
  20. Hey gtx6970 the air horns are from R&B motion! R&B motion and Shapeways nailed these products!! Keep on building!!
  21. Hey Matthijsgrit, Landman is right! Shapeway for the 3D print, R&B motion for the rods, nut and bolts and Detail Masters for the photo-etch
  22. Got the bug to build again, not sure what car/truck this bad boy will be going into? This is a 3D printed engine kit!! Crisp, clean and accurate! Love this stuff! The linkage was a head scratcher, I think it will work?? Just getting started will update the progress on the bench, now where's that torque wrench,.....??
  23. Paint, wheels and stance!! Thats what makes a cool ride and this has ALL of those!! Great job!!!
