  1. I have two recycled display cases. I've got about 120 finished. I'm about to run out of room. Don't know what I'm gonna now. Got about another 130 to finished. I'll try to get pics soon.
  2. Great job Ian! I like something that's different. Alot better than all the hemi and 440 cars.
  3. I try to use Green Duster as much as possible. But some websites it won't work. Then I just use my real name.
  4. Hope you have a safe and Merry Christmas
  5. Steve that is the differance between the Pro model builder and the Amateur modeler like I am. I build for fun and what I want to build. That is another reason I don't enter mine in shows anymore. I know I can't compete with thse guys. I'll just stay a rank amatuer. Just my 2 cents worth. Brian.
  6. I still am. It's a great site.
  7. Thanksgiving is for friends and family. Your new family member sure is cute! Happy Thanksgiving to all.
  8. Thanks for the quick reply guys. I was thinking of using it that way. Just wasn't sure.
  9. How do you guys use it? Full strength or mix with water? I'm tired of using brake fluid. Seem's to make the plastic brittle.
  10. 41 Plymouth front and a 40 ford panel rear. Wish I could get the other pics to work.
  11. Another? Sorry all the oters are to big. Will have to resize.
  12. Here are a few I've done
  13. Sweet! Love the color.
  14. Thank you everyone for the kind words. Older by years but still 19 when I get behind the wheel of the Duster.
  15. I think Lindberg made a stock a few years ago. Look around before you pop for the resin kit. I got one. was molded in yellow plastic. Good luck. Brian
  16. Try going to your local GM dealer. He should be able to order you up a small spray can of it. Use a clear over it. If you use a good primer you shouldn't have any problems. with the paint. I used it on a 41 Plymouth I built.
  17. I picked one up about a month ago. Got it a Wally world, belive it or not. Was only 25 bucks. Yes, there is alot of flashing. And the fit and finish is the same as it was back in the 60s when IMC first releasrd this kit. Alot of small parts. fit of them is terrible, but take your time and go slow. I found that the oil pan on the engine fits in the frame better backwards. But the real truck engines had a rear sump. I'm building it as a car hauler. I took the last section of the trailer and dove tailed it slightly. Those ramps are quite long. I would hate to have to carry them if they were real. I still don't know what color I'm going to paint it. The only reason I got this kit is because I only build Mopars. Just had to have it. It will look great with some old A,B or E bodies on the back. Good luck building.
  18. Thanks guys. Cal, help like won't help much. LOL.
  19. Got a glue bomb 32 ford. What do you guys use to seprate the parts? Is there anything I can dip it in? Thanks. Brian aka greenduster
  20. I had Chrome Tech do some stuff for me a couple years back. Local company for me About 4 hours south of me. They do great work. They did some bumpers and grilles. I recomend them .
  21. Just regestered. Wanted to introduce myself. Call me Green Duster or you can call me Brian. I'll answer to both. I build mostly Mopar cars and trucks. It's hard for me to expand my collecting when I only collect Mopars. Plus with my 73 Duster in the garage taking alot of my money.
