  1. Nice job on a kit that has virtually everything wrong with it. I got 80% done on this kit. It does have a lot of inaccuracies, fit problems, and general design flaws that make it difficult to execute reasonably well. It is missing several of the F2005 aero-bits, they made it really hard to correct sometimes large seams and finish becuase of the construction and how the parts were combined, and the wheel mountings are completely wrong, which makes the tires stick out way too far. Like so many of these open wheel kits, it best to cut all the suspension bits in half so you can mount them later. I could go on if anyone is real intrested in fixing up this kit. You really need to think ahead when you do build it because you can get into trouble quickly. However, having said that, with some time, patients, and modeling skills you can build a pretty decent F2005 with what Revell AG has given you to work with. It can be done.
  2. Thanks. Blue, it almost killed me. FE's are kind of growing on me. I was a small block Ford guy. Built a stroker 351W out to 380 inches, J302s, 710 hp @ 7400rpm Did ya watch the Rolex race yesterday? They broke another closest finish... Man did Brumos Porsche get robbed.
  3. Did you see all the Heller Rereleases! Got to get me a Bentely Blower... Now's your chance for a Peugeot 905 That had some cute little Citroens too.
  4. Starliner gets powered up Big Block FE Tri-power.

  9. And not to bad for a standard gallery avatar.
  10. First you have to make sure it is in the right size Pixel X Pixel no larger than 150X150 pixels and no larger than 55KB. This is the most common step people get hung up on is size. If you are having trouble resizing your picture send it to me and I can fix it up. Then go to EDIT AVATAR SETTINGS UPLOAD from your computer BROWSE to your avatar location on your computer (where you saved the file) click UPLOAD AVATAR at the bottom of the screen.

  13. What the hell has this have anything to do with anything going on here?
  14. Instructions. I don't even know where they are much less have looked at them. But I am sure it begins ... Step 1 build the engine, which I haven't even started yet, and the rest of the model is nearly done. Hope I didn't forget something important....
  15. That sux. I hope it works out for you in the end.
  16. Thanks. I thought so now that I see it done. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out when I started. It is a kind of a weird combination of colors. Tamiya White primer Testors US Aircraft Intermediate Blue Testors Aluminum Metalizer Testors Pontiac Engine Blue for the metal trim: along tops of the doors, bottom of the dash and seat base. BMF Just need to finish up the chassis, build the engine and put the finial trim work on. I built it completely assbackwards...
  17. I like how they did that on their GTP cars too. Mazda 787B Sauber Mercedes C9 Nissan R89C Porsche 956

  22. That is what I am thinking too. some DTM or Touring car. I just can't think of which team used White red and black. Seems familar but I can't place it.
  23. I thought Audi, too, but Nick said no.
  24. Already mentioned TRV, not that. What you are seeing is the top - down the side of the left front fender. The second pic is a dead give-away. It's not an Aston either. Need another clue?
