  1. That does look intersting, but I would lay money down its a reissue of this kit. Which was supposed to be the 94 Class winning Porsche RSR 3.8 ; however, the kit looks good. I am sure it would build up into a nice street car, but it lacks all the parts to make it what is shown on the box cover. It doesn't even have the correct BBS wheels, Mirrors are wrong, a bunch of little detals.
  2. No I was thinking the Italeri/Testors 250 GTO kit. It doesn't look as complicated as the Revell/Protar kit with all the opening doors and everything. There is about twice the parts in that kit. I also have an original Protar kit. IIRC the guy over at Italian Horses rated as an intermediate level kit. I always hate to bust into a kit that may be hard to replace. I wouldn't feel so bad distroying a Revell repop. I saw a couple at the LHS today. I should just snagged one. I almost did. Yeah, the EM or the High Tech GS kit. The High Tech is said to be a problem child with a number of issues.
  3. Donno you tell me. I don't know of any Porsche called or had Sebring as part of the name. In fact as far as the factory is conserned there was 901-999 And some odd balls 356 series and 550. I think there was some others out of the 900 sequence. And the way early stuff. VW, tanks, PanzerFuast. at one time I compiled most of the list from 003-998
  4. Edition? There were no "editions" of these cars. Porsche wasn't into editions They has some "Special Production" models for the 924 but not the 931/932 937/938.
  5. um what more a 938 explains it all.... = RH 924 Carrera GTS Althogh its probably just 932 or 931/937 LH
  6. 932/924 Carrera GT Probably 938
  7. 07 VEMAC RD320 Super GT Toda C32B V6?
  8. Or maybe not. It's an OOP kit I just saw on Ebay for $65. I only have the one. Maybe I will have to pick up the Revell Protar repop.
  9. I hate google...
  10. Nice job on that monster. And it was a monster it took a week just to time all four cams. Roller bearing... it was an insane bit of engineering for a little more hp.
  11. That would be kind of different from the well known Audi colors. Ferrari 250 GTO is what I am thinking.
  12. A Stillborn Toyota Group B MR2 dirivitive
  13. I guess they figured 9000rpm was to much for the automatic and is limited to 7200 or IIRC. Toyota I am guessing some kind of MR2 dirivitive.
  14. The Gulf-917? raced at LeMans I think I settled on something... I will let you know if it sticks.
  15. That is too bad. I would have loved to seen it pulled out in prestine condition. I wonder where they went wrong? They would have been better off dumping it in the cold water of Lake Mich, where they have pulled some 60 year old aircaft that was in nearly in prestine condition. One Wildcat they pulled up the battery still took a charge and held it, had oil in the crankcase and the engine turned.
  16. We do here in the US too, depends specifically on if it's an automatic transmission or not. Only the Auto had the 4 port, standard tansmission 6.
  17. Not much, 1. files and sandpaper to remove and parting lines 2. filler as needed depending on kit... for any sink marks and uneven parting lines that don't sand and or file out. 3. Soap and water to clean the body. 4. Tack cloth to be used right before painting and priming. 5. Primer, I found Tamiya's to be good stuff.
  18. first one is a Mazda RX8 w the new Renisis 13B. no. 2... Some kind of BMW with a I6.. I donno looks broke to me. The coil lead is not connected.
  19. CL didn't register for some reason. I just always think of them as Camel Light GT and not GTP-L and never saw them listed as GTCLs or wait... um CLGT Okay you were close, you didn't have the correct displacement. The 901 guess was funny. You were just all over the map one this one It's okay. Are you ever going to solve the green one?
  20. Nah, it's pretty clean. I am not sure about fit as I haven't built mine yet.

and to think... it almost went to the crusher... twice
  22. I have used sculpty before too. It is good for somethings. It is harder to work with and doesn't sand as well as Milliputt.
