  1. I been waiting for all ya slow pokes
  2. That is what I don't get, but it sure cause a fuss with a few people who been crying all over Internet message boards about it.
  3. That is just cuz they are morons. There is nothing wrong with Paypal. In fact, it's the only way to go, and gives you the best protection. Money orders and Checks are a good way to get screwed. I've been trying to figure this out for a few days, and I still don't see why all the fuss. It should be that way. I buy a few things off Ebay, and if it blew up tomorrow it wouldn't be the end of the world. I got a just a few things that the seller required money order and didn't have a Paypal account - probably some dinosaur afraid of technology, and it's a PITA and takes twice as long. I have to go somewhere and get a money order, another PITA, and pay for the the money order, then send it, which also cost me something, then wait for the seller to receive it, which on average takes a week. So I just avoid those auctions that require money order now. Paypal, click, click, click you are done in thrity seconds, costs nothing, and chopped a week off the transaction time. Seems like a no brainer to me.
  4. I don't know. I don't know what all the fuss is either.
  5. coming slow but sure
  6. I don't know, they had some pretty big ones on armor vehicles.

    1st Enzo

Wow. That gives it a whole different look.
  8. Yeah, it's done.... I am afraid. Your base and clear are drying and shrinking at different rates. It doesn't look like a gas-out problem. Paint systems today are getting very specific and you don't want to mix and match base/clear, plus there are all kinds of variants depending temp, moisture, flash-time, when it comes to pick out the right clear. who knows what is in that junk.
  9. I agree, looks like something I would at least attempt to scratch. Otherwise look at 1/35 military stuff.
  10. Its a miracle! It all fits, just barely. And there are still more bits that go under the hood.
  11. Here is some red for ya Nick.
  12. No, maybe tomorrow or the next day. Thanks. I just been kind of making it up as I go along.
  13. I was thinking Mistral, which actually looks more like a Fiat than this car does.
  14. I learned a new trick today. Wrinkle finish. Just dab black on with a Q-tip and work until the desired effect is achieved.
  15. It might be a Massi Spyder.
  16. You just need to think ahead on it as far as possible, as it is easy to get into troubles.
  17. Here this is a bit more dramatic... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obN1WJF82O8...feature=related
  18. Yeah that was the first one I ever seen blow up. Yeah, much more stuff was flying around.
  19. So far I found a lot of people saying it's best 250 kit ever, but I can't seem to find anyone who has actually built it. I thought for a moment it may have been unbuildable but I figued it out. Everthing is a tight fit and it's got to together in a very specific sequence. Another important note to anyone building it. Set the floor pan in places before gluing rear ducts. You can get the floor in and out after but if do and guess the floor may hit the ducts and you, like me will have to grind some floor away. I also had to spend a lot of time fitting the floor to the body so it fits right. It is still not there but closer. You can glue the ducts in and front lower valence in before hand for simplified painting, however, it makes it real tricky to get the rest of it together. The interior will go in first, then the chassis with engine last. It is a very tight fit to clear the distributors hitting the floor, but it will go. I don't see any other sensable way of building it, unless you build the entire thing and then put the body bits on - fill and finish. And agian it is very important to test fit everything, mock up as much in advance as you can, there are lots of assemblies that have to fit just perfect for eveything to line up. If you get one thing out of place it just multiplies as you add assemblies. It is an old tool; however, from what I have seen it's in reasonably good shape. It is still old technology and don't expect a "shake and bake" It's reminiscent of the old Revell kits when the tools were new. Very little flash, but beware of warped parts. I may buy another. I still believe it's a buildable kit, however, I haven't finished yet.
  20. Well here is one that actually does blow up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBd1xcOFXCc...feature=related This one bangs pretty good too.
  21. why ain't what's red?
  22. May not look like much now but there was a lot of work that went into this motor. Fuel rail Upper rad hose W/ By pass Low rad hose LH cam end filler neck Upper timming chain covers seperated from the kit part. Oil pan external pipe. and more...
  23. 25 started kits on the bench parts everywhere but knew where everything was and what everything had gone to. I used to be like that and probably still would but, 5 moves later changed all that. I am still recovering from that habbit. Now I clean pretty regularly. I am much more productive when the bench is clean.
