It does kind of look like that Audi.
-
Oh yeah, and it is demented!
-
Yeah, they say it was the best 60s front engine Ferrari to drive.
-
I was in a 67 Ferrari 330 GTC, too. No not the Ferrari, the mid-engine ZO.
-
I was in that Ferrari last week. I am not sure either. Looks a little 911 in the front, though.

You just need a good balance. -
They have gone up a lot since the last time I looked at the. They used to have a real basic lathe from about $375 and a mill around $600.

Oh well that was a pretty unproductive day modeling. 6 hours looking for missing parts and 30 min filling and sand my 993 rockers. -

I hate to see a whole kit go to waste over a few missing parts. I have lots of wheels. The mirrors are kind of special Thanks for looking. -
Sweet. by far the sexiest car ever! I still say there is a market for a mainstream plastic kit. I suspect, though, since there is only a handful of them left in the whole world they are hard to get a hold of for study.

Thanks. I'll keep going as far as I can and hope the it shows up. Man it's got to be here somewhere. I'd hate to think I been looking for something that is still in Mexico Plan B is try and snag one cheap off Ebay, but it looks like they are running about $30 with shipping. Plan Z is star on something else. -

I WAS building a 61 Starliner. The Chrome, mirrors, bumpers, trim, wheels.... kind of a major hold up. I can work on it but it's going to bother me till it's found and I will soon get to a point where I will need wheels to mock it up - in fact that is what prompted me to go looking for the tree. I didn't realize it was missing when I started. I probably spent the last 3 hours looking in kit boxes, which I thought I pretty much got all the parts in the right boxes. There was a time where my collection was small and I was working or aspiring to work on a bunch of kits at once in college. I moved several times and a lot of times trees just got shoved wherever. It plagued me on my Cobra, which also was missing the chrome tree for three weeks until I found it. During that escapade I though I got everything where it is supposed to go, so far after looking in about 50 kit boxed back from that time period no extra parts in any of those boxes. I seem to remember once upon a time coming across a military kit with a chrome tree in it, and thinking well that definitely doesn't belong there. Still no joy and I am running out of places to look. -

err progress halted by missing chrome tree.... I am sure I'll spend two weeks looking for it. -
I think I have made an important modeling discovery

Tamiya paints were pulled because they didn't have the appropriate labeling for this country. Yes, especailly when it works out well. I live in a very quiet dead end circle, and every once in a while they drift up here from a few blocks away.
