  1. I owned a Dodge once.... never again! I don't know how they can sell such a wretched POS and stay in business. Horrible doesn't even begin to discribe my expereince with Dodge/Chrysler.
  2. That is kind of cool looking. It's old and looks German.
  3. wasn't there a Brougham? The only thing I can find for that gen Cutlass is Cutlass and Cutlass Supreme.
  4. The kit is in perfect condition. The box is a little distressed though.
  5. You could try going through Testors. I ended up with a bunch of out of production Italeri kits with defects and Testors took care of them as best they could. They just couldn't replace the 5 Maultiers but gave 5 Opel Blitzs instead.
  6. Engine cover works... I know bonnet refers to the engine cover but I thought there was a secondary rule about it also being in the front. Goofy Brits. Nobody directly. They are all coming limited 3rd party now, since Fujiimi packed up and left their warehouse on the west coast. Getting a replace from Fujimi might be near impossible now. I'd just get that 550 body, which requires a Fujimi 356 kit to complete.
  7. Well, I haven't done it, but I read up on it a lot. I have a set of Arnnie the Farmer decals, and kit, only the car is supposed to be an AWB. But from what I read, and the way I am planning on it, is cutting out the wheel opening. Then cutting out an opening for where the wheel opening needs to go. Glue the opening in the new location, and filling in the space left over with plastic sheet. It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to do. I guess a lot depends on how drastic of a body shape and line it changes from where it was to where it needs to go. But that is what Milliputt, sand paper, and filler is for.
  8. now there is a bloody good idea. The "Ebay" Porsche 550 RS Spyder body would go right on that 356 chassis.
  9. I wish I could help you out. I just don't have a spare 356 body. It does look like what I thought this kit was going to look like after two weeks Ground/Air from Honk Kong in what amounted to a paper bag - and I paid extra for box shipping! I'd hate to see what the econo packaging would be like. That was after straightening the box out just to get it open, which actually took some work, as the box was folded over itself in several places! Trying to be careful not want to damage anything any more than it already looked like it was. And I am thinking great, there's a complete write off. I got this stupid think from Hong Kong and right someone's going to send a replacement. I am thinking to myself, "That's never going to happen." I was pretty bummed out. So much for doing the first IROC car. Then I had to pry on the box more just to get the trees out. So it's in a lot better shape pictured here than when I received it. I mean, it was mangled. Surprisingly, by some miracle not a single broken part, no warps, not so much as a scratch. Not even a single detatched part. I was trully shocked and relieved. So I pretty confindent to say, that what happened to your body didn't happen while it was in the box.
  10. He's right, this is the trunk.
  11. But it was a Ferrari at the salt flats. it's okay just giving ya a hard time.
  12. Okay, but this is a Ferrari thread.
  13. Well that's not a F40, hell that's not even a Ferrari.
  14. I am guessing it's all over but the insurance check.

Means that they came from Fuchs KG Metalworks. I think they did all the Porsche factory wheels through the 993 Fuchs = Fox

Fuchs: That is the factory wheel.

Well the only other wheels I'd ever consider putting on a Porsche would be some BBSs. I am not quite sure how you can put different size tires on a AWD, anyway.

it's got an okay stance from the rear. The front seems high and the wheels a little small. Might look better raked down. opps. made a boo boo and had to do emergency surgery.

That was a big PCA campain to save the whale tails on the 911 because they were getting away from them and had that stupid little pop up thing. A Porsche should be a widebody and have a whale tail.
  20. Yeah, 712 Can AM. you forgot the prancing horses on the fenders.
  21. I feel a little better now. 2 years and that's all the further you got. I'm prolific compared to you.
