I have a buddy at work that has got the bug from me to try out building models but he is intimidated by all the parts / painting. I had an old monogram Tom Daniel 1/32 duster funny car kit / old build sitting around and I took it into work an on break times painted it to show it is not to tough to get a decent result with minimal effort. The chassis was broke so I bought an atlantis release to finish. I gave it to him to take home. I must admit that little kit was a fun build. I used some older slixx decals I had in my stash. He is a root beer pop junky, thats why I picked the color. Testors one shot lacuer.

Front suspension all mounted. I will update with a pic after work tonight.

I went a little wild last night with drive shaft loops and bracing. The center of the frame I used round styrene. I'm mocking up the front suspension next then the chassis will be painted. The rear traction bars I had inspiration from the Ford Thunderbolt. The interior needs a roll bar then I can paint that and I'm building the engine in between the mods on the chassis.

Very nice Dart. I remember when Revell was releasing that kit in the 90's and me and a coworker could not wait to get our hands on one. I kept checking on the local hobby shops and meijer and Kmart.

I looked through my stash and realized I have about 8 LA Dart kits so that will be the Hemi I use, the torque flight molded to it leaves much to be desired and I have a torque flight from a turbine car parts kit that will graft to the bell housing. I will update pics later, I know I'm going to need to open up the firewall to get the engine back.

Thanks everyone, My biggest issue is seeing a project through. I just spent a little time wet sanding the floor boards. I still need to figure of the engine before I can get the frame in any kind of paint, ideas? I was thinking the hemi from the miss deal kit? I know I have one somewhere

This is an old project I started about 4 years ago and I stalled out making the rear floor pans and I got back on it this weekend and made good progress. AMT corvette is the frame and middle floor pans, took 2. Thanks ollies!! I need to add a few more body mounts and I already installed down tubes in the front chassis just no pics. I used a amt ford falcon gasser for the rear wheel tubs and front cross member for the suspension.

Very nice paint!! I just got the S&M revell kit yesterday from my brother.

This is just a fun build, not worried about accuracy. I know it is based on a johan kit but not sure who cast this, jimmy flintstone maybe? I used a ron coon 3d cage just to save time building a cage and I know I forgot the down bars on the back of the cage. I'm not to worried, just going to be a shelf model. I just sprayed the Tamiya paint today.

Hello, I have this 1/24 3D printed late model kit. The body work has been started and there are a few spots where it is cracked. I took pics of those spots. the RF nose and the tail panel. Some pretty neat parts. I got this is a lot buy last year and have not messed with it and would rather have styrene kits. Drag racing is my preferance for trade, moebius, revell amt altered wheelbase / gasser or old funny cars and rails. Projects even could interest me. Please don't judge my messy work bench. I'm working on it now.
