  1. The gloss clear does seem to be the best, also the aluminum.
  2. What has been terrible / bad for me is my paint skills. I will take breaks from modeling, never planned just life and when I return that is the skill set that takes the longest to get back. Painting the body.
  3. Dually has my attention. Tow rig for a display I have in mind.
  4. Might as well revive the entire series. Edsel would be cool as well. Money well spent...........
  5. Wanted one of these for a long time, when I was a kid and a younger adult would of been no problem. Found this one on eBay for a decent price. Just need to finish stripping the paint.
  6. That's more of what I meant but the cars were a shame as well.
  7. Yup, cannot watch it anymore, hurts.
  8. That could of been handled better all around. Live and learn.
  9. Yup all/most businesses work on a ROI approach, money spent versus money returned and beyond that investment amount. If the numbers don't add up they do not add up. Either side of the coin.
  10. I was not a fan of those kits. Agree 100% plus for a display model detail painting works wonders.
  11. R2 is finding their niche, they are making some full detail kits and the cloning program is producing some cool stuff that the vintage stuff sells for hundreds a piece at times and making those kits attainable to the masses.
  12. It would be nice if Round 2 could / would buy the Johan name and you know they would firm up the legal stuff and then could clone some cool stuff. We win.
  13. That turned out nice, I always wanted to build a mid 90's stretched nose grand prix.
  14. Like Tim Boyd said we keep buying and they will keep making these. The curbsides must be more cost effective to produce.
