  1. Yes I'm new here and getting back into modeling. I'm familiar with search functions on other forums I'm on, but never thought to use it on this one.
  2. Thank you for your answer
  3. But I thought Elmer's was white glue ? If not what white glue could you use ?
  4. Hi I read that you can use Elmer's wood glue as a temporary way to bond styrene together. Can I just use water as a releasing agent on it ? Or do I use an X-Acto and sand off the remains ? Thanks
  5. I lucked out, a friend of mine had the TS92 paint. He had done a spoon test on white and gray primer and the white base looks better to me. The white is on the left.
  6. It's non stop what you're capable of when you get off you dupa and do it.
  7. Just a thought. What would you have become if you walked into his shop as a kid and he showed you the ropes?
  8. I have a Grainger close to me and a MSC. I'll check it out. And yes thank you for the link mr obsessive
  9. No I didn't break it, it looks like it was never ground for the flutes. Been a mechanic for 52 years I know what a drill bit looks like when sharpened. Thanks for your input.
  10. If it hasn't been mentioned. Your Tri Power carbs are on backwards. Float bowls go forward. On the middle carb the carb choke coil faces the right side of engine.
  11. Hi Bought myself a pin vice/drill bit set off of Ebay. I just used the smallest one for spark plug wires and doesn't look like the end was ground. Under a magnifier it looks flat. Can't anyone recommend a good/quality set of micro drills? Thanks
  12. malstr That is the color I'm after. Thanks.
  13. Hi I just got back into model building and I'm kit bashing the Revell 41 Willys gasser. I would like to paint it burnt orange metallic. I saw Tamiya has a color but don't know how looks. (PS61) Also dupli color makes a paint I believe for a Nissan. Thanks
