  1. I wouldn't take it if it was offered for free.
  2. To each his own but I think it was a bad decision. A true gear head loves power but it's just a much about the sound a big cam with high compression, the smell of race gas and feel of the car.
  3. If this has already been posted then mods please delete. The most iconic 57 chevy has been converted to ev and imo ruined. Not sure what they were thinking but this was a terrible idea. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.motortrend.com/features/project-x-57-chevy-ev-conversion/amp/
  4. Dang your right, I'm not a foreign car fan so I don't know much about them. Thanks for the correction.
  5. Got these from a friend in New York. Built many of these trucks as a teenager and I needed one for my collection. I'm not sure who made the 62 olds awb but it's a very nice casting . The mg will be rebuilt as a 60's drag car.
  6. Yeah alot of things got by back then that probably shouldn't have ? but still that's probably motorsports greatest era.
  7. Not bad at all. With a little tweaking you could easily dip into the 12s...
  8. Very nice chevelle! What kinda times have you ran with it?
  9. Pro stock is the same as nascar to me, absolutely nothing stock appearing about them. I have not watched professional drag racing in over 20 years. If they could get it back to its roots I'd definitely watch again. A class with true backhalf cars with stock frame rails and suspension up front also allow small or big blocks and I think people would get interested again. The absolute best drag racing I've seen is the southeast gassers association. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see some great drag racing.
  10. Looks great
  11. Nice job and very impressive detail work.
  12. Neither of my 2 have it.
  13. Nice color choice. Will you be leaving the side trim or removing it?
  14. Nice job
  15. It's not the best movie but it's not the worst either. It's worth watching just for the cars alone.
  16. Roy Clark was a very busy man with his career so odds are he wasn't able to race the car as much as he'd have liked that would explain why the original paint is in such good condition.
  17. Introduced in 1988
  18. Pretty sure the pro stars came out in the 80's Lee after the draglites. The company has been around for awhile but actually filed bankruptcy a few years ago.
