  1. One thing that has affected me is trying to decide what to build next. I have so many choices that it's tough it was much easier when I didn't have as much stuff. I get started on one then an ideal pops into my head and I start another.
  2. Dang Steve that looks awesome
  3. I'm pretty sure both 8" and 9"were offered with the locker.
  4. Very cool! I think this is the first chevy powered cobra I've seen and that's pretty neat.
  5. Thunder Road with Robert Mitchum is such a great movie! I've probably watched it atleast 20 times over the years and it never gets old.
  6. Absolutely agree... I have a 66 wildcat I'm gonna build into a awb match racer sometime soon hopefully. Your buick looks awesome.
  7. Most of these clowns are in a hurry to go nowhere. They are a danger out on the road to others and most of them are rushing for no reason.
  8. Seems more and more of these clowns are on the road. I had one pass me in a school zone one morning and nearly crashed himself just to get around me funny thing was that's as far as he got. Tailgating has become a normal thing here lately and if the weather is bad these clowns get closer.
  9. Wow this will be interesting, I love the 79-93 mustang.
  10. Nose up cars existed although most were probably local guys working on a budget. One thing that made the cars look higher up than they actually were was the small tires on front. It's a known fact that all the fast winning cars did sit more level.
  11. A 50 shot will be fine. If you use a microswitch it'll activate at wot when the nitrous is on. If you are using a button I'd start out spraying 3rd and 4th until you get comfortable with it. Depending on how good the track is determines how I'll spray mine, on a really good prepped track I'll leave on the nitrous on a not so good track I'll spray the last half.
  12. Nice job, I like the colors.
  13. You did an outstanding job on this. The only ss items left on the car are the rear bumper pad and dash. Very nice looking Malibu.
  14. Very nice job
  15. I have it on my 92 mustang, it's a carb not efi though. First thing you need to know is what engine is in your truck, is it carb or efi? Unless you've had an engine swap your truck will most likely have a cast piston and not a forged piston. I wouldn't run over a 100 shot on a cast piston or your asking for trouble. Here are your basics. Are you planning on using a wet system or dry system if your truck is efi? Lower timing I always start around 10° Good fuel is a must Anything over a 100 shot will require more fuel pressure on a efi car/truck. Bottle pressure, I usually run around 900 I recommend a purge valve (money well spent) Cold plugs I run a gap of .38 to .40 Depending on weather. DO NOT HIT THE REV LIMITER DO NOT MISS GEARS IF USING MANUAL TRANS. WHILE SPRAYING NITROUS If using for the first time I'd recommend using a micro switch so it only activates at wo throttle once you master it you can change to a button. I have a 250 shot on my mustang and haven't had any issues but I have forged pistons ? I'd find someone at your local track that can help you choose what's best for you and your truck and also give you advice on using it. ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND IF YOUR TUNE IS OFF OR YOU MAKE A MISTAKE IT CAN BE CATASTROPHIC!!
  16. Hopefully they have found a way to fix all that and things go smoother this year. That's why most people like watching No Prep Kings more than the other shows.
  17. Glad to see I'm not the only one ?
  18. I would like to see them continue where they left off. I just hope they figure out a way to race without all the dodging and drama this year.
