Side note, head light buckets were not blacked out on '68's.

I think they've done that to mitigate the effect of the woefully wrong grille and headlight buckets.  I would have bought many more of these if they'd got the grilles correct and done something about the warpage problems.

If you're looking for other wheels to put in your Parts Packs,  I think you should give some serious thought to adding the ones from your upcoming Black Beauty kit.

Of course, after I just paid $$$ for a '67 Camaro annual.  😒

IIRC, the separate exterior door handles came along when the convertible was introduced. All of the coupes still have moulded-on door handles, but the chrome tree includes separate items.

The green Phase III kit was the first in the series of the Mark IV powered Camaro; the Zed was thee first of the then-new '69 Camaro from Revell (c.1990).

Kind of surprised --and perhaps a little disappointed-- that a 350-powered SS was never produced; only the 302 Zed.

The 'Hot Rod' Yenko Camaro was the first release with a big block   The B-M version came a year or so later.  The first issue in the 'Skip's Fiesta drive in' box had a nice fly eye air cleaner, but the reissue just has the standard one, which is disappointing.

Builds up good, but in my eye the front end looks wonky.

Agreed.  Comparing with photos of the 1:1 and the old AMT annual, the front end looks blunt, the front fenders ahead of the wheels extend too far down and the grille/headlight area needs attention.  I don't know about the convertible, but the fastbacks made after the GT350-R issue also have a huge gap in the panel under the grille that shouldn't be there (but lack the narrow slot that should be present).  I've been working on correcting a Monogram Shelby but fixing one thing leads to another...

The four carb could be a Cragar, same as the one Ed Roth used on the Excaliber/Outlaw.  (Cragar made speed equipment starting around 1930).  I'm not positive but I believe Man-A-Fre came later, after Revell tooled most of the parts packs in 1962.

I could be misremembering, but I thought it had a Cragar logo moulded on it.  I can check tomorrow if nobody else gets there first.

AFAIK, Man-a-Fre intakes were only made for Chevies and used modified Rochester 2GC carbs.

I don't care about the 1/20 scale, but do wonder if those kits would generate interest, if they were scanned and resized in 1/25th scale and if it would be technically possible to do so.

Yes, I would much rather see that 1/20 Econoline reproduced in 1/25.   On the subject of scanning kits where the tooling is gone/altered, it would be nice to have the '70s Dodge vans back as well.

I wonder if the 1/12 iteration is far behind...?  That'd be sweet -- even sweeter if period correct aftermarket rims and customised engine parts (e.g. , Cal Customs rocker arm covers, etc.) were created for it (keep the 80's stuff, too, for those whom wish to install the [neat] Moroso 'covers , and the Cragar SS/T wheels) .

Probably too much to hope for that they correct the 8 bolt valve covers.   Does the 1/25 '67 have that problem as well?   I know the '68-'69 kits do.

I think you mentioned in the 2021 Round releases topic there was also the "ACCelerator" version, too, which is where the funky wrap-around windscreen (first?) appeared:

That was in the original issue.   I had a Frog boxing of it, now sold, and I still have a glue bomb rebuilder.
