I don’t like the original series at all to dated to cheep to cheesy and unfuturistic looking I am glad with the third episode of season 2 of strange new worlds they pretty much finished retconning the original show out of canon with the rest of the shows and films and is in it’s own alternate timeline all by itself so now the original show does not matter at all in the overall franchise

The third episode of season 2 of strange new worlds retconned tos out of canon with the rest of the trek shows and films as it is a time travel episode and a continuation of the temporal Cold War from Star Trek enterprise and resets khan’s origin to being only 6 years old in 2022 and born in Toronto Canada and the first episode of season 1 of snw and the last episode of episode of season 2 of Star Trek Picard also retconned the eugenics war to before ww3 in the 2060’s but after the second U.S. civil war which is sometime after 2024 since season 2 of Star Trek Picard is a 10 episode time travel and alternate timeline hopping story and is mostly set in the year 2024 only the first 2 episodes and the last half of the final episode take place in the year 2401

Nope from Star Trek strange new worlds the first discovery spin off series the follows the crew of the enterprise under the command of captain Christopher pike during his second and final 5 year mission we have lots of new faces lieutenant Erica ortegas and lieutenant la’an noonien Singh and chief engineer pelia who replaced chief engineer hemmer after he died and some familiar faces from the original trek series with ensign uhura ,dr m’benga ,lieutenant Montgomery Scott aka Scotty and commander James t Kirk and his older brother lieutenant George Samuel Kirk aka Sam and lieutenant commander spock and nurse chapel The first episode of season 1 had his second five year mission start a year early in 2259 so in a way pike last tour as captain of the enterprise will be 6 years instead of 5 years

This is jack crusher’s kitbashed phaser from Star Trek picard season 3 Jack built this phaser from parts from 2 different 23rd century starfleet phasers Also jack crusher is the son of Beverly crusher and Jean luc picard who only found out about his son in 2402 when his son was now in his 30’s when picard and riker went to find and rescue beverly crusher jack crusher also had a criminal record from different crimes on several worlds and multiple aliases he would use

This is the visually updated design of the classic phaser from Star Trek the original series that is used in Star Trek strange new worlds the phaser was not the only thing they visually updated the designs of for in the series the communicator the tricorder the uniforms the ship designs both exterior and interior sets the Klingons appearance have a mix of 2 different designs the discovery season 2 design and the tmp movies design with the uniforms being a mix of enterprise through ds9 design They also updated the gorn race as a hole both visually and story wise

This is the type two phaser Starfleet used in the late 24th and early 25th century they went back to a pistol style design like the Starfleet phasers had throughout the 23rd and early 24th centuries this phaser was seen in all 3 seasons of Star Trek Picard

nice work I wish revell would have made a snap kit of the 99 charger concept car And wish back in the day mpc would have made a 1969 challenger yellow jacket concept car kit 1970 dodge challenger diamente concept car kit and I hope amt or revell will make a 2024 dodge charger daytona srt banshee concept car kit also
