custom 69 corvair.mp4 this is a 1/24 scale 3d printed model that I painted the rims and exhaust tips are from my parts boxes I painted the body Tamiya ts-59 pearl light red I had to fill in the windows with putty as most of each window was not fully there and the interior of the car was just solid floor pan to interior roof supports that I had no way of removing then I hand painted the windows and taillights and headlights and chin spoiler with acrylic craft paint and paint brushes and used silver sharpie for the trim i am trying a new way of posting my model build video instead of the youtube version i am using the forums choose files to attach uploader

this I the monogram 1/24 scale 87 firebird gta kit this is my first build for December 2023 I based the look on the outside of the car on how KITT looked after being modified for a car show in the Knight Rider season 2 episode custom KITT I did do a rim swap with a extra set of monogram 1/24 1985 camaro z28 rims I had as thay were similar but not exactly the same design rim what they put on KITT in the episode the side pipes and roof wing were from my parts boxes oh my instagram version of this model build video has the actual version of the song that is playing in the background of this video which is a cover of it I only have under two minutes of the song playing in either version and the full song is 4 minutes and 35 seconds long and is very good and is the final song by the band it took several decades to be released and the official music video for the actual song will give you goosebumps at the end and will get you teary eyed during it

Also most model kit companies use 3D resin printers to make the masters for the molds for their plastic kits nowadays and Hollywood now uses them for making the props for shows and movies as they can print a great many of them for relatively cheap price so if one goes missing or get broken it is easy and cheap to replace there is even a company that make full sized houses with the interior walls and floors and even counters printed with a 3D concrete printer

This is not a good example of 3D printed bodies most people who sell 3D printed kits and bodies use uv resin printers and the quality is the same as resin casted models kits and resin casted bodies

Thank you pla is like impact resistant plastic you have to use power sanders or dremal with sanding drums and bunch of other tools plus a lighter to heat up the pla to make it more pliable to clean up

Thank you No I have a friend that has like 3 large filament feed 3D printers he prints all the larger models I want for me I only has a small uv resin 3D printer I can’t print 1/25 or 1/24 scale or larger models on it 1/32 scale is as big as I can print car models on my resin printer
