Thank you The original name for KITT was going to be TATT which stood for trans am two thousand the knight industries 2000 was going to be Wilton knight’s plane a custom Lear jet which which the plans were stolen by the same group that left Michael long for dead at the start of the pilot and that Michael knight took down at the end of the pilot as for the Datsun z idea it was rejected by glen a Larson the creator as soon as it came up

thanks most knight rider fans don't care for how the car looks in the film

nice work i prefer the new version better well up till season 4 anyways after that it left cbs i quit watching i know i would love to find a model of the ferrari roadster magnum drives in the new show side not the first episode of the first season of the new series they had magnum driving this type of ferrari to chase after the bad guys and it gets completely destroyed

this is the amt/ertl knight rider 2000 knight 4000 1/25 scale kit i decided to make a what if version with one of these kits this is what if michael knight had had more time then he had when putting KITT into the knight 4000 he had enough time to tint the taillights and repaint the body and even mod the dash with the remains of KITT's original interior and some custom rims that resembled the originals i also made custom knight rider 2000 figures of michael, shawn and mr maddock i made the custom hubcaps from legos and the original KITT voice modulator and steering wheel came from a spare jada 1/24 scale KITT i also used putty to create the upper control console according to the original designer and builder of the 4 screen used cars the knight 4000 was going to be black and the dash was to be a mix of the left over interior parts from KITT after his body was recycled into cans and most tech was sold off to medical research firms but the studio nixed the color and wanted it red cause they figured it would get young women interested in the show if the pilot movie did well as they wanted shawn to replace michael as KITTs partner and driver and the reason the interior did not happen was due to a disagreement with glen a larson nd why michael ,devon, and KITT did not act or seam like they were in the original show also all 4 cars built for the film had to be redesigned and rebuilt from the nose back after pontiac told them to make it look less like the 88 pontiac banshee concept car

i know this is a idea for a a full modern remake set in 82-86 which is mentioned in the description below the video of my build plus the idea using the a 3rd gen camaro for KITT came from the mythbusters episode were they tested if you could really drive a car up into a semi trailer while semi was driving which was done in knight rider half the time the other half the semi was parked alongside a road also 1/25 and 1/24 scale 83 and 85 camaro model kits are easier and cheaper to find then 1/25 and 1/24 scale 82 an 83 trans am kits

this is model 4 of my knight rider reboot of the original show idea it would be a 1 to 1 remake of the original show episodes and set in the same time frame as the original but all of KITTs functions are voice activated and there is a dash mounted holographic heads up display were all video calls and case info could be projected onto the inside of the windshield I also borrowed the voice modulator design from the 08 series and instead of a firebird they choose to use a camaro this is how I reimagined the season 4 convertible mode i even made a Michael knight figure and put him in the drivers seat
-
Nice work I have never been a fan the firebirds i thought they were the ugly knock off camaro wannabes I have always preferred the Camaros of ever generation they have of them but recently I have grown to like the 3rd gen trans ams with t-tops and I love one particular custom black 82 trans am t-top and that is the one that talks and has a bunch of gadgets and modes built in an in most cases indestructible and can go 300 miles a hour in one of the modes and that trans am is the knight industries 2000 or KITT if you prefer
-
Nice work it sounds like the Camaro ev will basicly be something like this

thank you and it is cool but i have never done lighting in any type of model and would not know the first thing about doing it unless it was plug and play type plus there is not alot of room to stuff big batteries like 9v or aa or aaa that most lighting requires i was thinking about using the lighting and battery units from the jada 1/24 scale die-cast knight rider models in the aoshima knight rider kits

Thank you

this is model 3 of my knight rider reboot of the original show idea it would be a 1 to 1 remake of the original show episodes and set in the same time frame as the original but all of KITTs functions are voice activated and there is a dash mounted holographic heads up display were all video calls and case info could be projected onto the inside of the windshield I also borrowed the voice modulator design from the 08 series and instead of a firebird they choose to use a camaro instead this is how I reimagined the super pursuit mode to look it is a mix of the original George barris design for season 4 and the attack mode from the 08 knight rider series This was classicgas’s blue 85 camaro z/28 I got in a trade so I could make this with it
