  1. Hi Steve! Sweet! A motor with "presence" you say? That's the understatement of the year, but fine with me! Bravo! CT
  2. Hi Sir! Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated. I, also, am not very found of mile-high gasser. Today, I bought the Willys Panel (Simple Simon) gasser, BUT, I will do a low slung tightly packed street rod with it. It's a kit I built as a 10 years old back then. Nostalgia maybe, but... with a 21st century twist. CT
  3. Thank you for the infos, Joakim! CT
  4. Thank you Oliver! Rear seat and waterfall by Foose, door panels by yours truly! CT
  5. Hi! Since we are on the subject of shoehorning Viper V10 in smaller Mopars... CT
  6. Hi Kurt! That's what I meant by "surface rust". Such a "pristine" model A just doesn't exist here in salt land... It would look like lace at the bottom of the quarter panel and cowl. That gives sense to the expression "fair body retrieved from the desert" that we read so much about in Hot Rod Magazine during the 60's. Just a fantasy in my neck of the wood. CT
  7. Hi Joakim! Fantastic build! I love the colour combo. And the rolling stock is perfect. Is-it from Revell's Acura? Just curious... CT
  8. Hi Paul! Thank you. Good to hear from you. Hope all is OK for you, Bella, your Dad and the rest of the family. I know California is going trough a lot these days... At our end, the pandemy is much under control. Mask wearing indoors is mandatory, has been for about a month. Might be related... CT
  9. Thank you Jim! It was featured on this forum about 18 months ago. You may be able to search and find it... Unless the recent re-shuffle of categories got it lost in the ether? I think I listed it under "drag racing cars", or "other racers"... Can't remember. Getting older by the day, alas... CT
  10. Hi Nigel! The Charger has a fairly spacious engine compartment. The usual problem is that the K-Member/steering linkage interferes with the oil pan. Other than that, not much of an event... CT
  11. Hi Alan! Thank you for the comments. Actually, when I removed the roof from that 41, it was because I needed it to complete the severe chop on another identical Willys... And guess what: that one became... Rear Engine Powered... (see pix), So, please, complete your Willys, They gonna be "triplets" of sorts. Funny... CT
  12. Hi Marty! Your 62 pushes all the right buttons. Having been built circa '90, we see: pastel colours, cloth interior, massive V10 and Prowler rolling stock. Plus, it is based on an ultra-rare Johan 62. A time capsule of sorts. What's not to like? Keep on modeling. Hours of fun with styrene. That's the goal, no? regards, CT
  13. HI Marty! Nice. Can't help it but love it. Here's the same concept, but with a Johan 68. I also called it the 300V. It's a small world... CT
  14. Hi Roger! Wow, what a wet look paint finish! Impressive. I saw the 1/1 car back in the days, and it was a stunner. Your built is up to par, for sure. I specially like the perfect colour rendering of the "anodized" tin work inside the body. That was one of the signature feature of the Trojan Horse, and you nailed it, bravo! May I ask who makes the decals? The simulated gold leaf lettering looks good... CT
  15. Hi Manuel! It is spot-on for this era. All the requisite parts and body treatment make it totally believable. Paint is very smooth, and the contrasting panels are perfect. Bravo! CT
  16. Thank you Steve! I always tought that the Camino would had been more stylish if built from the Nova platform, not the Chevelle. Well, styrene is a cheap way to live my fantasies, I guess. (talking about the CAR variety, of course...) CT
  17. Hi Kurt! Quite a request from a guy living in dry and sunny Arizona...LOL! I contemplated rusting and piercing the body as the kind of damage you would expect here in the Great White North... But I went for the "southern surface rust" technique instead. Just laziness on my part, I guess... CT
  18. Hi Sir! Well, gotta have it. The joy of styrene is priceless. For all the rest, we have Master Card. I'll order it today. Where is my card... ah, here it is! In these times of vanishing printed media, I will spend countless hours rumaging trough your latest opus. Thank you! CT
