  1. Hi! Impressive combo, fantastic interior... and I wouldn't mess with that lady... Bravo! CT
  2. Hi Sonny! Thanks for the comments. Well, I suppose, if you could find one on this side of the pond... And then again, you'd probably get sued for madifyinbg a rare original. Oh well,,, CT
  3. Hi Mike! Funny! But I'm concerned that Francis keeps his hands in good shape. He needs the to turn out those formidable results that delight us on this forum. Most of you have to be satisfied with pictures. We here, in the Great White North, have the privilege of seeing his creation under our noses, right on the table! What a treat! I will try to convince him to attend the GSLMCC (on my bucket list) with a few of his masterpieces. It would make quite an impression, believe me! CT
  4. Hi Francis! Wow, spectacular minutia, as usual! Bravo! Now, the million $ question: like in most headers installation, will you cringe or cry when you have to "hammer" adjust them while trying to slip them in place on the truck? As a member of the busted knuckles club. I'm concerned for you well-being, my friend. Proceed with patience and care... CT
  5. Hi Bill! Thank you for the comments. It's true, they mostly "fell in place", with a little convincing, of course. But "brilliant" ? Let's say lucky. A famous celebrity once said: " You must believe in the concept of luck. Otherwise, how could you explain the succes of people you don't like"... Have fun with styrene! CT
  6. Hi Oliver! Thank you for the comments. Please, go ahead! Those flowing designs were great to start with, so it is easier to do something nice. Actually, it is more what you take off the car. not what you add! Funny... CT
  7. Good, if it can be of any help! CT
  8. Thank you Jonathan! I never doubted the sense of humour of your fellow citizens in the Grand Canyon state! CT
  9. Thank you Bob! Wow... you put me with some fast company here. Quite a compliment! I had the honor of meeting both, and they are great individuals! CT
  10. Hi Ray! Nice built, bravo! I'm told that those altered accelerated so hard, that their bodies sled backward. Now, I see there is truth to that! CT
  11. Hi! Thank you David! I was in Long Beach a few times, and loved it! CT
  12. Hi David! Thanks for the comments. If you magnify the pics, you'll realize that the slightly darker accents on the pleats of the seats were done just by gently dragging the very pointy tip of a lead pencil in the grooves. It imparts a dark line at the bottom of the crease, and some softer rubbing on the sides. Easier than trying to wash them with contrasting colour, in my experience... CT
  13. Hi Gareth! Thanks for the comments. This is actually the stock licence plate that came with the kit. When I took the picture, the flat chromed surface was actually reflecting a darker corner of the room, hence the illusion it is black. So, no magic here on my part. Sorry... CT
  14. Hi Francis! Well, I've built about 10 cars this winter, and since I'm not much into photography (as you can tell...) I waited 'till they were all done before a shooting session. Therefore, I still have 6 or 7 to post here in the coming weeks. Not counting the 4 I'm finishing right now. Hours of fun with styrene (but I know you also enjoy aluminium and brass!). CT
