  1. Salut Pierre! Thanks for the comments, much appreciated. I tought I would see you at the Mtl Nord and Sherbrooke events, but you were MIA... Next spring at the RAM I hope. As to the brick shape, rest assured: I was not listening to Jethro Tull's famous song "Thick as a brick" while building it! CT
  2. Hi Sir! Thank you for your efforts to provide a "seamless transition". It shows the respect you have for the modeling community. Long live Modelcarmakers.com! CT
  3. Thanks Chris! Sometimes, it's fun to think outside of the box. Isn't it the whole point of scratchbuilding? CT
  4. Salut Francis! Indeed, I have a fondness for Salt car, as you know all too well. But now that I have the SCTA rules book, I take extra time to build them so they WOULD pass inspection. I'm not certain this one would... Oh well... If you go to the Under glass DRAG RACING section, you'll see two I completed this summer: A Big John Mazmanian Fiat Altered, and my PRO BUM Pro Mod late Camaro. But I do not have your mastery of this genre. One can always dream, eh? LOL CT
  5. Oups... Don't know why, but this update went in the WIP DRAG section. Maybe back when I posted the car here for the first time, I mistakenly filed it in this category, or the "other racing" was not a section yet? The Gods of Syrene have their way that us mortals can't control LOL. CT
  6. Hi! I was surprised yesterday at the Sherbrooke model show, receiving 1st and 3rd place in the COMPETITION class with two (!?) of my Salt cars: !st with my CADIL-LAKE 59 Eldo streamliner (still visible on this forum), and 3rd with this old girl, my HOLY FLATS' PILGRIMS Corvette, built many moons ago. Two Bonneville cars on the podium at once is quite unusual, but much appreciated. Maybe the "times they are a'changing", ans Bob Dylan famously sang LOL. CT
  7. Hi! I was blessed yesterday with the 2nd place, TUNERS, at the Sherbrooke show with this little bomb. I built it 2 years ago, but it still gets vote. Go figure... CT .
