  1. Hi Kenneth! Thanks for the pics: abundance of good models here! CT
  2. Thanks Michael! Those details were long to implement, but I feel it was worth it. CT
  3. Hi! Lately, I was looking at a wireless home phone that gave up the ghost... and it dawned on me that I could transform it into a snowmobile. Cold season is coming, so... Removed the unwanted parts, threw in spoons for skis, and scratchbuilt the track, suspensions, handlebars, seat, floorboard, bumpers, etc. Tamya brilliant orange + custom mix acrylic for the seat + rubber black for the track and Revell's spray chrome for the rest. Parts box leftover decals. Hours of fun with styrene! CT
  4. Thanks Andrew! As you can tell, I L-O-V-E salt cars, and I must say I'm totally flabergasted by the number of views my Cadil-Lake got in just 3 weeks: close to 10K! Goes to show that you never know how fellow modelists will react to a more "unusual" car, both subject and treatment. There's a local show coming up in 10 days, and I'm curious to see the reactions... Stay tuned! CT
  5. Thanks Carl! I felt it needed just a little something "special" in the back, and I think that was it! CT
  6. Hi Jacque! There is no photoshopping. Actually, the kit front grille is one continuous panel, from top to bottom, with two indentations on the sides at mid point to secure the bumper, which is a separate part. I only cut the bumper, keeping only the outide sections, to make "blades" à la 60's Corvette. Voilà. As to the hood, it was fairly well aligned out of the box. The reversed hinge required a slight trimming of the front edge of the hood for it to open without rubbing against the front section. CT
