  1. Thanks David! It is my favorite TBiird generation, so was fun to design and build! CT
  2. Hi! Full disclosure: I had a 1/1 85 Turbo-Coupe TBird back then , and I loved the car. Nostalgia got me to take a Monogram Iaconnio TBird pro-stock, and adapt it to street duty. I wondered what the SVO division might have done if asked to create a car for the show circuit. So... Monogram's racing bird kit, witn a road-worthy interior and large diameter Maisto rolling stock (narrowed in the front), and the hood and headlight lenses (modified) pirated from the 87 Turbo-coupe. + some parts-bin pieces (seats, roll-bar, etc. Scratchbuilt dash, door panels & console, hood hinges, injection system, etc. . Tamya's titanium silver. Revell's spray chrome on various parts. Hours of fun with styrene! CT
  3. Hi! I agree with Muncie. plus, if the past is any indication, economic downturns usually show that most people cut on big ticket items, but continue to allow themselves "small pleasures". I suspect buyin a kit or two falls into the latter... Good luck and enjoy yourself. CT
  4. Hi! I was blessed with the first place trophy in the custom & rods category at the RAM show last weekend in Drummondville. Thanks to the organizers and to all the participants who took time to vote! CT
  5. Hi Bob! Wow, I have two copies of this kit in my stash, and I can tell you made a world class assembly here. Bravo! CT
  6. Hi Scott! Many thanks for the pics, very instructive! CT
  7. Hi Chris! Happy you are satisfied. To your point: those are older builds, that generated lotsa smiles... but no trophies! And yes: these are flowers (and a card) on the rear shelf of the 300C. CT
  8. Hi Tim! The shave and clean-up look great. The beveled trunk of the first two years of this bodystyle is really the nicest looking. Bravo! CT
