  1. Salut Pierre! Was great to meet you yesterday at the Trois-Rivières show. I repeat what I told you: this build is world-class, original, and begs to land on contest tables! Enjoy your vacation, and I look forward to meet you at shows this coming fall! CT
  2. Thanks Billy! You are right, and the fact that designer Jack Telnack and his crew transformed the squarish Fox cars (Fairmount & al) into the smooth Aerobirds using the same platform (and slightly modified cowl) is a testament to their talent! CT
  3. Thank you Bruce! I had to come up with a scratchbuilt plenum/manifold/injector rails, because a big engine like the Boss 429 hardly cleared the stock hood. Of course, the pro-stock had a huge scoop to clear the carbs, but a lower OEM hood is soooooooo low...LOL. CT
  4. Hi Steve! Thank you for the comments. I saw that Mark indicated he would contact you, so go at it! I'm certain you'll do some world-class work! CT
  5. Thank you Steve! I had an 85 Turbo-Coupe, and I LOVED it! Traded it for an 87 Merkur XR4Ti, which had the same engine and tranny, but a more agile chassis with an IRS. Loved it also, and traded it for an 88 XR4Ti... great souvenirs! A few years later, I bought back the 87 from a friend who had it since I traded it. My wife drove it for years, and then my oldest daughter. CT
  6. Thanks Bob! I always try to "color-coordinate" my subjects. I try to abide by the "never exceed 3 colors on a model" unwriten rule that was once explained to me by a car designer. Oh well... CT
  7. Hi Mathias! Very nice model. I love the color. This Mustang body style is the one which responds the best to the "wide-body" conversion. Bravo! CT
  8. Hi George! Great production, bravo! If I may: what is this spectacular bright green on the Galaxie? It works! CT
  9. Salut Pierre! I have built 6 or 7 Bonneville cars in the last few years, but only last year did I get the chance to make friend with fellow forum user MUNCIE, who happens to race 1/1 cars on tle lake. So, he was generous enough to send me one of the latest rule books. Needless to say, I now try to make sure that my cars "would pass inspection". I don't think I can add anything to your creativity, but if you'd like to consult the rules, we should find a way to get the book to you. For instance, I'll be at the Trois-Rivières show on sunday the 27th. If you plan to be there, or have a friend who'll attend, let me know.I'll bring it with me. CT
