  1. Thanks for the pics, Steven! CT
  2. Thank you Steve! I'm often criticized for using "soft" colors, but I persist! CT
  3. Thanks for the pics, Greg. Many good ideas there! CT
  4. Thanks Donato! That's how we like them: low, raked and with a big engine! CT
  5. Hi Tim! Great work. The Johan grille is very well detailed. To your point about the difficulty gluing this plastic... I had the same problem with a Johan 68 Javelin, a promo, not a kit. The molding material is, I'm told, Cycolac. I made a crack in the cowl while cutting the hood open, and NOTHING would stick. Had to hide the crack under a scratchbuilt shift light. Oh well... CT
  6. Hi Francis! Fantastic work. But I guess the real challenge will be the yoke oil seal at the junction of the 3rd member! LOL. CT
  7. Hi! I tried Revell's spray chrome (50$ Canadian a can), thinking it would be deja vu all over again.... But to my utmost surprise, it works great. Just apply it REALLY wet, and don't touch it for 48 hours. Easier than Alclad or Molotow, and the brightness is consistent, whereas Alclad can be a smidge darker. Case in point: the wing below is Alclad, and the tin work on the ProMod is Revell's. CT
  8. Thanks for the pics, Michael! CT
  9. inducing endless purrrrrrrrs
  10. Thank you KK! Much appreciated, coming from a true rod afficionado! CT
  11. Thanks Bob! Somehow it came back: go figure! CT
  12. Great concept, clean execution: bravo! CT
  13. Salut Francis! Thanks for the comments. I will NOT have to convince you that a MOPAR has inherent "charm" that just asks to be unleashed, isn't it? To your point about the floorpan: I often scratchbuild chassis for pro-touring cars that place the transmission and driveshaft ABOVE the floor, to obtain maximum drop without having to kick-up the front frame section and suspension too much. Works most of the time. But the massive Viper V10 was cumbersome this time. Oh well... Can't wait to go to the RAM model show with you this coming april! CT
  14. Thanks Ken! I searched for a while for a way to build a 36 that would please me, and that was it! CT
