  1. Thanks Mike! But I'm not about to complain about that, am-I? LOL CT
  2. Hi! Verrrrry nice. The color combo is perfect. Bravo! CT
  3. Hi! My neighborhood Michael's, in the Quebec city area, is managed by a friend. He told me kits are notorious "slow movers", and that therefore, they don't carry a wide selection. Last year, they cleared all the Testor's paints (spray and bottles) at rock-bottom prices. Smells like the end... Last october, I got the same feedback from a clerk at the North-Conway new-Hampshire Michael's store. RIP? CT
  4. Hi! Thank you. That 225$ is a good price, if the kit is as "mint" as the box suggest. Paid mine 150$ Canadian. Was a good deal! CT
  5. Hi! Thanks for the pics. Would-you happen to know the asking price for the Big Deauce 1/8 kit? I have a mint one, and I'm just curious to compare...LOL CT
  6. Hi Mike! Thank tou. Well... I try to think out of the box, and spend waaaaay too much time on them. VoilĂ ! CT
  7. Hi! Interesting idea, bravo! It's a small world after all... CT
  8. Thank you Mathias! It will improve my knowledge of German! CT
  9. Hi! My first funny-car "duel" took place at the Pont-Rouge Dragstrip, near Quebec city, early 60's. I vividly remember the most flamboyant car of the two: Phil Castronovo's Custom Auto Body Mini-Charger. As the name implied, it wore a spectacular paint and lettering job. Mr. Castronovo hailed from NY state. A few years later, NHRA brought a NATIONALS event at the SANAIR strip near Mtl. All the big players were there, including Don Garlits with one of his front-engined Swamp Rat. Time flyes!
  10. Thank you Bill! The jet boat was my first experience with a boat & trailer combo. I learned a lot from it! CT
  11. Thank you David. That was the goal, happy I convinced you! CT
