  1. anyone know what wheels would be correct for use on an Open Road Camper using the AMT 72 Chevy pickup kit, I know i'm going to have to use a duelly style wheel setup, but I would like it be correct for 1972.
  2. although Tamiya does'nt require primer, I would use it anytime around Revell's new plastic. I have no issue's on my Z06 which was painted Tamiya Mica Silver over Tamiya white primer.
  3. I also like the new Challenger over the Camaro. the Camaro seems to busy to me. but if I had 35K to spend on a muscle cars. I will be going down to my local Subaru Dealer and get a WRX STi, The Camaro, Challenger and even the Mustang are still chasing that car performance wise. If GM is going to build the Camaro they can not afford to build it without killing something off. I think the Monte Carlo is going to the chopping blockits been a sales dud since they redesigned them in 2000. The only reason they havent killed it is becouse of its ties to NASCAR EDIT:, forgot about this little gem coming in 2009, the twin turbo V6 Nissan Skyline GTR
  4. hmm, sounds like a good idea, gives me a reason to build that MPC 77 2dr Monaco that collecting dust in my closet
  5. quick question for those who have seen the movie. I havent seen it yet, does Jeremy Clarkson from the BBC show Top Gear (that must really be brought back to American Television) have a small voice roll in the movie, I read it somewhere but I can't any info on it at IMDB.com (internet Movie Database)
  6. ohh no Bill, a super detailed Z06. will it have working power Windows, door locks, keyless entry, and a working Navigation system
  7. the overall build quality is lacking, I understand they only have 7 days to build it, but there's some area that need some help. like look at the undernieth of the trunk, very rough. and the fitment of everything is very off
  8. I'm not surprised we havent seen more of these on the bay. this is the 4dr they converted to a 2dr. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1956-Chevy-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  9. I already now I have to sand it, most of the crazing is in the interior bucket. and where you not going to see it on the finished model. the rest looks good so I may just sand it down and repaint. and not strip the whole thing
  10. I went to paint the interior today, just everyday Tamiya semi flat black laquer, but when I painted it, the paint crazed big time, I know Revell's new plastic has some issue's but this is the first time i've ever had this issue using Tamiya paint. so now its sitting in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to get the crazed paint off, then i'll airbrush it Tamiya Acrylic. so I don't have this issue again.
  11. awsome tutorial Jairus. I plan on replicating a Friend of my Famiy's 70 convertible some day. and this seems to be an easy enough conversion.
  12. I used to use Kylon, but as of recently I ran into alot of problems with crazing with it so I quit using it, its was'nt bad stuff, I just switched completely over to airbrushing Tamiya Acylics and spraying Tamiya Laquers.
  13. Great seeing the Jeep Commando is being reissued. that one is LONG overdue
