  1. I like the new look, one thing though, can you guys make the text a little bit bigger, even my 21 year old eyes have to squint to read the posts.
  2. looks great Izzy, I really need to finish mine. I'm not a big Corvette fan but I like the Z06
  3. anyone know anything close to this color, this is a very rare Ferrari color called Verde Germoglio. I'm planning on building a Monogram 308 in this color. I thought maybe Lamborgini Verde Miura might be close. but the Lambo color is a bit lighter i'll prohibably just end up using the Lamborgini color since its close enough, I just want to know if there is anything out there that maybe closer
  4. I wonder how this one looks today, they went into overtime with this one (Its called overtime). spent alot of time on the paint. this is prohibably the nicest Overaulin car the've done yet
  5. can you polish out Alcad II crome over an enamal base. I just shot some and got a lttle bit of orange peel
  6. wow, another legend. this place is becoming a museum, not a message board
  7. I guess i'm also one of the younger ones, i'm 21 Since everyone else is doing it, look what you could own the year I was Born
  8. here are some you tube links to Top Gears review of both cars. be sure to watch what "the Stig" does to the Koenigsegg at the end of his lap. it aint pretty The Zonda http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THgK5BRyYPE...%20Gear%20Zonda The Koenigsegg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Clap740gX2c...ar%20Koenigsegg
  9. did'nt realize yu'nze wanted full name, I've updated mine
  10. here's mine, the 67 Impala in on my bench now this is a 50, although mine will be a 49 still unsure what color this will be, but i'm liking this green,
  11. I also agree with Bob and Khart, the problem with that board is that its an old style. very old in fact. if you want to look at old progress of the model there is almost no way to do that unless they have a Fotki account. which most don't I can understand his reasoning why he keeps it, he wants to be able to allow new people to post. but it brings in more trolls then anyone else, also, it does'nt block against SPAM posters who have been putting up useless information recently
  12. I am also a former "there" person, but I no longer will post "there", too much BS "There". and I now post here
  13. anyone have any info on this show on October 7-8 in Toledo Ohio.
  14. Slixx does, its based off the current show car. not the 1966 version
  15. I really like that, looks like its easy to do from the Johan kit, the Dub City Cobra has those wheels
  16. anyone know what wheels would be correct for use on an Open Road Camper using the AMT 72 Chevy pickup kit, I know i'm going to have to use a duelly style wheel setup, but I would like it be correct for 1972.
  17. although Tamiya does'nt require primer, I would use it anytime around Revell's new plastic. I have no issue's on my Z06 which was painted Tamiya Mica Silver over Tamiya white primer.
  18. I also like the new Challenger over the Camaro. the Camaro seems to busy to me. but if I had 35K to spend on a muscle cars. I will be going down to my local Subaru Dealer and get a WRX STi, The Camaro, Challenger and even the Mustang are still chasing that car performance wise. If GM is going to build the Camaro they can not afford to build it without killing something off. I think the Monte Carlo is going to the chopping blockits been a sales dud since they redesigned them in 2000. The only reason they havent killed it is becouse of its ties to NASCAR EDIT:, forgot about this little gem coming in 2009, the twin turbo V6 Nissan Skyline GTR
  19. hmm, sounds like a good idea, gives me a reason to build that MPC 77 2dr Monaco that collecting dust in my closet
  20. quick question for those who have seen the movie. I havent seen it yet, does Jeremy Clarkson from the BBC show Top Gear (that must really be brought back to American Television) have a small voice roll in the movie, I read it somewhere but I can't any info on it at IMDB.com (internet Movie Database)
  21. ohh no Bill, a super detailed Z06. will it have working power Windows, door locks, keyless entry, and a working Navigation system
  22. the overall build quality is lacking, I understand they only have 7 days to build it, but there's some area that need some help. like look at the undernieth of the trunk, very rough. and the fitment of everything is very off
  23. I'm not surprised we havent seen more of these on the bay. this is the 4dr they converted to a 2dr. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1956-Chevy-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  24. I already now I have to sand it, most of the crazing is in the interior bucket. and where you not going to see it on the finished model. the rest looks good so I may just sand it down and repaint. and not strip the whole thing
  25. I went to paint the interior today, just everyday Tamiya semi flat black laquer, but when I painted it, the paint crazed big time, I know Revell's new plastic has some issue's but this is the first time i've ever had this issue using Tamiya paint. so now its sitting in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to get the crazed paint off, then i'll airbrush it Tamiya Acrylic. so I don't have this issue again.
