  1. awsome build, but IIRC, he missed the Brickyard that year in that car did'nt he?
  2. thanks for all the info
  3. does anyone know any kits that have a 307 V8, I'm building a 1970 Camaro RS mainstreamer, I was gonna put in an inline 6 until I read that only 12,000 1970 Camaro's came with six's, while 112,000 came with V8, so making it a six would actually make it a rare car.
  4. I can't believe I forgot to mention my big Holy Grail, a MIB Monogram 1/8 scale 80's Camaro. I've seen several of them on EBAY, but they always go for big bucks. I wish Revell would reissue it, or any of the other 1/8 tools out there
  5. does anyone out there produce any resin body's that will fit the Barris T Buggy chassis, I got this kit for free a few months ago and I will like to build a Dune Buggy from it, the Barris look is a little too out there for me
  6. awsome build, always liked those older Matt Kenseth Cars, BTW, according to Jayski he ran that car in 2002 at the Coke 600

  9. Like Bob said, the only 1/24 scale VW Jetta in 1/24-1/25 scale of that vintage is the Welly diecast, here's a picture of it, If the reader is just looking for anything of that vintage jetta, maisto has a 1/64 VW Jetta, that can be found at just about any Wal-Mart.
  10. thanks for the input, I'm using the setup out of the Revell Escallade. also found a transfer case that should work.
  11. looks cool, its got a mad max look going on
  12. dangit that was an awsome show, hopefully it will be back in 08
  13. does anyone out there make a 4X4 suspension for the Revell 99 Silverado kit. or knows if there any kits out there that have an accurate 4X4 setup for this kit
  14. don't feel so bad MJ, i'm in a worse slump, I can't seem to get anything anywhere near done. got a Revell Magnum primered yesterday, I had hoped to get the base coat on today but I just never got around to it, I havent finished anything since October
  15. can anyone out there recommend a good airbrush for under $30, my Testors "Blue Ice" one died and am looking for a basic good replacement. does'nt have to be dual action, I just use it to paint basic stuff, not body's or big stuff like that
  16. Welly just released a 1:24 05 Mustang and it comes with the Torque thrust style factory wheels. they should look ok on the 1:25 Mustang kit, but they deffinently need some detailing
  17. I spent the summer of 04 and 05 in Oxnard and I can vouch for Ventura Hobbies, great little hobby shop. good selection of new kits and some OOP stuff. nice people run it too.
  18. thats exactly what i'm looking for, thanks
  19. does anyone have any pictures or know how the chassis on Dodge Magnums are finished, the ones that don't have an undercoating, I can't find a definitive answer on this,
  20. according to HH all the kits AMT announced are a go, they still plan on tooling up all those kits, including the Foose Mustang, Camaro and Cuda, maybe AMT is doing better and RC2 decided to keep them,
  21. looks like an awsome kit, I need to order one, mine will be Cobalt Blue (I wish Cobra Colors was still around)
  22. here's my current "to do list" it will deffinently change throughout the year 1) Revell AG Ferrari Superamerica 2) AMT Snap Ford Explorer (quicky project) 3) finish restoring MPC 72 Challenger 4) Revell Magnum with some Aoshima rims, 5) finally finish my Open Road Camper with a 67-72 Chevy up front
  23. no kits for me either, did get a really nice LeBra tonneau Cover for my Ranger. hope to get the new Revell Dodge Magnum this week,
  24. a little bit of an older build, AMT International Scout, built when they reissued the kit, my skills have gotten amazingly better since i've built this and that was only 2 years ago
  25. looks good so far, thats one of my favorite kits of all time, i've build 6 of that body style F150, and have plans foe a super detail F150 Lightning of that vintage
